1 package Knorr leek soup mix; 16 ounces diced cheese; 1 cup water. In double boiler or fondue pot, heat soup mix and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil and simmer 2 minutes. Add remaining 1/2 cup water and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.

Q: is this Leek or French Onion mix

can't get enough!!!! Use it in everything...

I have yet to use this to make actual leek soup.I strain out the onion/herby bits and put the powder in everything from deviled eggs to soups. I use it to help thicken and flavor stews, chili's, refried beans, egg salad, salsa verde, enchilada sauce, etc...Just a cautionary warning though - I have taken all the non-powdery bits and put it through my spice grinder, and what come out is very herby and potent. I have used it, but I use it sparingly - other than the first time when I threw it all into cream based soup and it turned the soup an odd army green olive color. Tasted great, but not the eye candy I was after.
