Worked Great For Me
I used the puller to remove the pinion gear from a small, 130 size motor from an RC tank. I had tried heating the gear and prying it off with no success. I am sure I would have destroyed the motor and gear if I continued. With the puller, the gear came of using only finger pressure on the screw, very easy to set up and use, no damage to my equipment. No bending of the push pin. I did measure the motor shaft, so I could select the thickest pin that would not get stuck in the gear. I am sure I will use this again. I would buy this again. My first impression upon unpacking was that the unit was tiny, I didn't know they made gear pullers this small. There are no instructions included, this may be a blessing considering some instructions I have read.

Needs some work before it works.
While parts of this are very nicely made, I had to spend 30 minutes in the shop adjusting it so that it worked properly. The pinion sliding plate came dented and all bent out of shape, it would not slide into place. A couple of the driver pins had ridges near the notch that prevented them from being inserted into the screw press.

The tiny tip bent
The tiny tipped pin bent and broke when I tried to straighten it out. I can't find replacements for it

does exactly what I needed.
It could use some slight tweaking... I almost could not squeeze it under the pinion I was trying to get off, was able to wedge it just enough. I have now used it several times and I can recommend it.

More solid than the red-hoop model
I bought and returned the red-hoop model, that one seemed to be aluminum(?) and bent while failing to pull the pinion. I took a chance on this one and found this one has a more solid steel feel to it and a narrower frame. It proved itself by successfully pulling the pinion off a power drill 24v motor. This model did require a bit more clearance between the pinion and the motor case/bearing, but with some tapping, I got it in place and it worked nicely.
