Solid as a Rock Speaker Stands
I bought these after returning another set of primarily wooden stands to another retailer. Those were difficult to assemble, at least for this non-handyman, and the wood posts split when tightening. The Kanto speaker stands were much easier to assemble, and the solid steel construction makes them very solid and secure. The bases themselves are quite heavy, which is what one would want from stands that are supporting valuable speakers. The height is just perfect for the speakers to rise above the couch and chair but still blend unobtrusively into the room, and the sleek, dark look is very stylish.

Absolutely justify the higher price
This is one of the most impressive random products I have ordered off Amazon in a while. Clearly these speaker stands were designed by people who are real audio enthusiasts and set out to make the best speaker stand they could. Even the packaging is very thoughtfully done. The features (speaker angle adjustable, cable routing, extra base for compatibility) are very well executed and all you really need. It's a heavy duty stand with an understated but classy style, and the finish on everything is excellent. Even the feet for the bottom of the stands feel premium. I'm using audioengine A5+ speakers, they fit and look great.Highly recommend!

A Worthwhile Purchase
I was initially reluctant to purchase a more expensive set of speaker stands. However, I’m very happy I bought these. The stands are sturdy and more than strong enough for my larger speakers. I was particularly grateful for it ability to swivel speakers in different directions. Cord management is generous. I would add that, compared to a well-known competitor, the directions for assembly are clear here and much more straightforward. I am definitely pleased with my purchase.

Solid, sturdy, well built and good looking, but could use the bolt hole threads cleaned out.
I previously purchased the older design of the 26" speaker stands and loved them. I had a need for another set, but taller and liked my old Kanto stands so much, I didn't think twice about getting these. The design is similar to the old ones, but the metal plate on the bottom has been notched out to allow for cable management (the older model didn't need this as it didn't come with rubber feet and had more ground clearance). The top plate also mounts differently to accommodate, what I assume, is the new speaker designs with a mounting hole on the bottom. Instead of coming with spiked feet and pads, it now comes with spiked (carpet) and rubber feet (hard wood, tile, concrete, etc.). The design is just as solid/stable as before and looks almost exactly the same, which is good. The fit and finish is similar, but I did experience some issues with assembly. I've read some reviews on the old model/design that people had issues with the threaded bold holes (no threads, couldn't get a screw to thread, etc.), but I didn't have any issues with the ones I purchased previously. This new model did give me some issues. Almost all of the bolt holes needed to be chased out with a screw as the paint (I actually think powder coat) needs to be cleaned off the threads. One of the holes had some weld too close to the threads and I had to file it down to get a screw in. Unfortunately, I did not have a tap set to fix any of this the easy way and had to just carefully use a screw, file, punch and hammer to clean this up. It would be good if the threaded holes would be chased with a tap at the factory to clean it all up (my only complaint).I would absolutely buy these again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a speaker stand at either 32" or 26" heights (good for sitting, bed or near a desk). They are very sturdy, built well and look good.

Heavy base; well made. Not ideal for S95QR, but doable
I use these for the rear speakers for an LG S95QR soundbar. The speakers have a screw mount hole on the bottom. These allow me to anchor the speakers. The speaker hole is off center, so it looks like it's set a bit too far back. Despite the look, it feels well anchored and very stable. The cord management works, and the heavy base keeps things stable.Build quality seems high.Would recommend.

Beautiful, sturdy speaker stands!
These speaker stands are everything I wanted:SIMPLE, CLEAN DESIGN: As you can see from my photo, Kanto's speaker stands look gorgeous. Their simple aesthetic compliments even the most austere speaker design. In addition, they look good in modern and traditional homes.EXCEPTIONAL SUPPORT FOR MY SPEAKERS: The stands are heavy and well balanced. I used the screw-on, rubber, hardwood feet to easily balance the stand. (I'm pretty meticulous, so I used a level, too. It was easy with these stands.) They also have a nice, soft cushion on the top plate to cradle your speakers.EASY TO ASSEMBLE: Kanto's instructions are easy to follow and I loved the little box with all of the parts. I've never seen parts labelled so clearly! IKEA should take a page out of Kanto's book.HIDES THE CABLE: The opening for the speaker cable is wide enough at both ends to thread a thick cable with banana plugs through, even after fully assembled.CUSTOMER SERVICE: My stands arrived with a part improperly machined. I contacted Kanto's customer service and they sent a replacement immediately. The apprised me of the status at every step. I really felt taken care of. Thanks Kanto!

Great quality!
First I have to say these speaker holder are really good quality. They come with two different plates and they are nice and heavy. I was actually looking for something to hold our heavy sound-bar and came across this set. It actually works really well and looks great.
