I ordered these balls after randomly coming across them on here and, as I have Scoliosis and sometimes get lower back pain and stiffness as a result, decided they might be ideal to help with that. Also, the price seemed very reasonable and the reviews were so positive! I'm so glad I did order them! They're great and do seem to help ease the lower back pain and stiffness. I tested the big one (the pale blue one) by sitting with my back against the wall and placing the ball in the small of my back and then shifting back and forth, up and down, to roll it around. I did that for about 5 minutes and afterwards I definitely felt some improvement in the stiffness I'd been feeling up to then! I notice from some reviews that some people have said these balls are too stiff and hard for them but I think the balls have just the right amount of firmness yet the spikes have a bit of give in them as well. If they were softer I doubt they'd be as effective, especially if someone used them by laying on them with the balls(s) underneath them with their full body weight on them! I tested my blue ball clothed (of course!) and had a T-shirt on with a cami underneath and those layers were enough to ensure they didn't dig into and 'prickle' my back too much and it wasn't painful at all to use the ball, just minimally prickly at first that would be the case because they're not smooth and do have 'spikes'! Only a big girl's blouse would find them painful and intolerable to use!!In the box my balls came in was a leaflet showing the different ways in which they can be used for various conditions, etc, and also the seller sent a link to an e-book about ways to use them as well. Not only that, the seller sent a very nice message thanking me for my order and explaining that they're a family run firm and that good customer service is of utmost importance to them, etc, and I was very impressed with the personal touch of their message as well as with the speed with which they sent the balls to me and how well packaged they were (and so well priced too!). I can't recommend these balls AND the seller (ResultSport) enough and am very likely to place an order for something else from them in due course!!

Excellent product I purchased thesje on the advice of osteopath they are ideal for the treatment of plantar faciitas .I did show the osteopath them on my next visit and he asked me for the details of make and supplier so he could pass it on to other patients. The pressure is perfect and having three sizes is ideal

I injured my Achilles nearly a year ago and have had on-and-off physiotherapy for it. I also do a lot of rolling on a foam roller to reduce knots in both my quadriceps (front of thighs) and calves. However, it was becoming clear to me that what I was doing was not sufficiently effective.I have had the spiky massage balls for only a few weeks but already I am feeling a small improvement in my recovery. The massage ball (the medium-sized purple one seems to work best for me) seems to get more deeply into the knots in my calves. As a result, the discomfort in my Achilles seems to be easing off.The balls are very useful. However, you do need to put real effort into using them. Rolling my calves on top of the massage ball is not a comfortable experience, but I continue because it's good for me. So only get these if you are ready to put the hard work in.Recommended.

I wanted to write this review as I know the company are a family run business and I want to support them.I looked at the other balls on offer but they were not as good value and all of the reviews I read on these were positive so I thought well why not! Especially the people saying it helped with pain.I have chronic pain and made it my target to use a spiky ball every day. However the other one I have is WAY too hard and the spikes are completely rigid so I found I was never using it. These are three for a good price in different sizes and though they are nice and firm the spikes are a little bit soft so you can lie on them comfortably (I tend to do this because I don't want to scratch my paint on my wall and also can't get the ball to roll smoothly that way) and rub them up and down arms or legs and they don't hurt uncomfortably. They're not too soft that you feel the ball will burst and I lie on it with my full weight pretty much! Very sturdy! They also send you a cute pdf guide on how to use them! Love!

I'm really impressed with this set of massage balls. They're soft enough to have a bit of give, but also hard enough for a proper massage. I've used mine already to ease neck tension and headaches - I find the sore bit in my shoulders/neck and just lie down on top of the ball and let it press into the pressure point, or just run the ball along the tense muscle.I actually bought them to ease the pain of a flared up sciatica, and they are really doing the job. If I wake up with the pain in the middle of the night, I just put the largest ball under the sore point and can soon go back to sleep again - although, a word of warning, best not to go to sleep on the ball, as you wake up with pockmarked skin which takes a while to fade!I also use them while doing stretches, to maximise the benefits - get a physio to show you! Another use I've discovered is in the car - I can ease tension just by sitting on on of the balls while driving.Having the three sizes has been very useful, as some muscles need a smaller ball, and the softer the surface you're lying on, the larger the ball needs to be to have any effect.In summary, the balls are very helpful tools in pressure-point type self-massage, and I can recommend these without hesitation - they're good quality and have really worked for me. In fact, I'm getting some for presents...

Bought these as I use them in a yoga class for foot work. Excellent. Really wake up the balls of your feet. Perfect for the job I need.
