Great piece of equipment..!!!
I use this in the aircraft cabin area from the flight deck to 1st class, business class & right the way to economy class. The suction is very good for a hand held device. Obviously the aircraft would have already been cleaned by the cleaners but I always carry this as a backup if in case something was missed, especially as it is so light and portable. Because I'm not using it continuously, the 5Ah battery which I use (not supplied) can last for several weeks before it needs to be recharged. Also the narrow nozzle attachment is ideal to get between the window seats and the side walls.. this is definitely a great piece of equipment for the job that I do.

Great for everyday cleaning of hard floors
Great value and a super vac for everyday cleaning of hard floors. My husband has Makita power tools so I didn't have to buy a battery or charger, and the battery charges up very quickly, and easily lasts long enough to clean all my hard floors at least once.Only complaint is it's messy to empty as you have to clean the filter by hand. Also, I wouldn't recommend it for rugs and carpets or stairs as it doesn't have enough power for those jobs in my opinion. Other than that, very pleased with my purchase as it cleans hard floors well, is lightweight and easy to use and is good value for money.

The ultimate bachelor accessory?
From time to time I have to stop waxing my sports car, eating raw steak, or chopping down trees, to vacuum my house. Perhaps my girlfriend is coming over. She doesn’t want to see a dusty carpet.I was sick of unwinding the cord and working out how to use the vacuum cleaner every time I wanted to use it. Besides, the designer’s political views suck, which made me want to smash it (grr). So I found this little beauty. It takes Makita LXT batteries - just like my man-tools. I don’t have to plug it in, so I can just suck up dust to my heart’s content. It’s kind of fun to use. And for an extra fiver, this version is the blingy one with the translucent dust chamber - so I feel superior to my stupid neighbours.I knocked a star off, because it’s not really complete. You see, like any good bloke product, this vacuum is tuneable. I don’t have any kids and can buy what I want, so I ordered the optional cyclone chamber (30-odd quid). This transforms the vacuum - making it much easier to empty, and preventing you from having to clean the filter every 10 minutes. It also looks like it’s from Mars. Buy it. But it should probably be included from the factory, so I knocked a star off. Sorry Makita people. Love you.

Bargain if you have other Makita cordless products
If you already own Makita batteries and charger this is a no brainer, in that case it is an absolute bargain.I wanted a cordless vacuum cleaner having visited my son in Europe and used his during a house move - I'm not a total doormat - we had gone specifically to help with the move and try to ensure his enormous deposit was refunded for the flat he vacated (and it was so that makes me a hero!). Please excuse the waffle..... lockdown has been going on a long time and I'm BORED.OK back to the review:Hubby and I were shocked how much some cordless vacuums cost, plus many don't seem to score too well on the longevity scale. We decided to try this as we already have various Makita products in the garage hence numerous batteries and chargers. This is BRILLIANT. Granted it is small but we have an average size 3 bed home and its the only vacuum we use or need. Its great on the hard floors throughout the downstairs but copes OK on the bedroom carpets too. The huge plus is that is so handy and easy to use hubby will fetch it from the utility and use it the moment he realises he has paddled mud in from outside!

Handheld cordless hoover
Good hoover, battery lasts a long time, best handheld hoover I've tried, handy when you don't want to use a big hoover to hoover a little mess on the floor

Poor suction
Average for cleaning the car, wouldn’t recommend it, it’s not worth £46.

Good one
Reading reviews on this some where complaining you didn’t get a battery with it 🤣😂🤣😂🤣a battery! Really? Are they kidding. The batteries are more expensive than the he hoover itself. A BATTERY INDEED. what do the expect for 44 quid. Others are complaining about the suction being poor. Again it’s a £44 small hoover meant for small jobs. And let me tell you it does it well for the size and price. If people want more suction they should go elsewhere and pay a small fortune something that is going to suck their wallet dry. People really should take this for what it is. A SMALL CONVENIENCE HOOVER and thats all it’s made for not for cleaning the whole house. It’s a decent hoover for what it is at a decent price. And no you don’t get a battery with it. Anyone who thinks you should get a battery with something at this price is crazy 😝 cheers Amazon
