I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS!After doing online research, I decided the award winning Supportiback looked like both the best product* and the best value for money, so I purchased both the Supportiback® Posture Therapy Lumbar Support Cushion and the Premium Coccyx Cushion with CoolGel®.I'm glad I spent the bit extra for the latter (there are good cheaper alternatives but I highly recommend paying the bit extra for this). Best purchase ever! WOW. I feel so supported and comfortable when I sit now. I wonder how I ever lived without these products before (hence the aching back) – they make such a huge difference! My back is so relieved and happy!They both come in a matching lovely black velvet cover which looks great and means I don't have to compromise on posture, comfort or style. I love that both cushions are portable and can be used outside the home also. I'll be buying extra and taking mine everywhere! I was surprised and delighted as they arrived super quick, I think the next day.I also loved the back story of the Supportiback® brand – In 2015, Ben Dohmen and Santiago Nestares, hunched over their computers for hours as they did coding work on their computers, struck up a friendship and discovered they had something painful in common: aching backs.....I'm really looking forward to buying more Supportiback® products as they really do work, look/feel great too and come from a company I really like the sound of and I'm delighted to spend my money with. *After working intensely with many leading designers, doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists and other experts, the two began working with manufacturers to build high quality, well crafted and incredibly comfortable posture product (from the Supportiback® website)

I got this due to horrible pain in my back/hip which could be one of several things going wrong in that area, but given current circumstances, there's more important things for doctors to be doing than looking at my back. First impressions were that it worked brilliantly - definitely felt an improvement, good support, the cooling gel is brilliant. I sometimes need to sit at my laptop for long periods for work, and this was brilliant.I didn't find that it went flat as other reviews had suggested - however, I felt I wasn't getting the benefit after a while and went back to sitting without it. For me, the key seems to be taking breaks from using it for a few days and going back again. But I'm 5'11 and a "considerable" lady... the foam seems as springy as ever, even after a few all-nighters working up to a deadline!Also found it was helpful to get the positioning right - I have a fairly big computer chair where the seat is bigger than the cushion. At first I tried it right at the back (cushion against the back of the chair) but bringing it forward about an inch made a difference.In terms of pain relief, it definitely helps and usually feel the benefit straight away. I have fibromyalgia and ovarian issues - pain from both (and whatever's up with my hip) are usually helped with this. I've found it to be very comfortable, but the memory foam/gel texture isn't for everyone. The cover is velvety and in theory can be removed and washed, but not sure how easy it would be to take out the cushion and put it back again.I found the stitching on the carry handle seemed to be coming away a little when I first got the cushion too, but not a problem for me as I'm not taking it anywhere. Not difficult to mend either, so no lost points either, but worth mentioning in case it's vital for someone's buying decision.

Spending too much time at a desk over many years leaves me with lower back pain. So I need the additional support of a good cushion. A good chair is great but most of us never benefit from a good support chair unless we are sitting bolt up right!! Looked at a lot of the options available and for the price I was willing to pay this seemed to be a good option. Only had it a few days but I am finding it both firm, supportive and comfortable to sit on. I also find that my sitting posture is better which in turn will help my back. It wont cure back pain but it will help. Yes it will flatten over time but first impressions are all positive. Long may it last :)

I've waited a couple of weeks so I can give an honest review. I was very impressed with the cushion on first glance. Pretty velveteen cover with the insert being made up of a memory foam bottom layer and silicone top layer, there's also a useful handle on the side for easy carrying. It was cooling to sit on and made my chair really comfortable. I'm a fairly heavy woman and was concerned that after long periods it may not return to shape but I was wrong, it's held up with my 17stone backside using it most of the day! I've got back and hip problems and find sitting in the same position difficult and generally shift/change the way I sit every 15mins. I did feel that I could potentially sit for longer periods without needing to get up and move. (I'm hoping to take it to the cinema soon as I no longer fear the pain I'll be in after sitting for a couple of hours!) So for my needs this has been a lifesaver. As a bonus I have also used the cushion on the back of my chair supporting my lower back so it's really a 2 in 1! A week after purchase I was emailed a fabulous brochure about the cushion from the company with loads of additional information. I've recommended this product to family and friends as it meets my needs and it would maybe benefit them too. However, I would note that it may not suit everyone's needs which is why it's getting mixed reviews, it really depends on what your medical issues are. I would definitely buy again and would be interested in other items from the company. I was concerned it would be cheap Chinese made rubbish (you never can tell when ordering), but it arrived quickly from a UK supplier and I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality/price/benefits.
