Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin 425g 3 Pack

I have bought this Libby's canned pumpkin before to give to my two terriers along with their raw food diet. This was a really good value purchase and my dogs continue to enjoy it added to their dinners. It is especially good if they ever get uspet stomachs, when just a good dessert spoonful instead of their usual meal really works to settle everything down perfectly. I usually divide each tin into smaller portions of a couple of spoonfuls popped into bags, and it freezes perfectly. This is actually described as Pure Pumpkin PIE FILLING in the listing but is infact just Pure Pumpkin so no worries that it's full of added sugar etc. It is really difficult to source and despite having to buy it through Amazon, this is actually cheaper than Tesco's advertise it (although I've never found it to buy locally at all)I am sure you could make a fabulous Pumpkin Pie with this lovely product and it certainly does taste delicious, but I've never made one myself.Maybe next time.

Libbys pumpkin has been my brand of choice for decades, because of the consistantly good quality.

So happy I was able to get this over in the UK it makes it so much easier than having to go through the hassle of cooking down a pumpkin to be able to make a pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread. I don’t understand why I cannot find it in the shops over here, but I am so grateful that I have it

Trying to find a food grade pumpkin in the UK outside of Halloween is nearly impossible! Even if I did, sometimes doing all the work of cutting, scraping, baking and preparing the pumpkin meat to cook with just takes too long.This way I have the pumpkin meat ready on hand and can use it in all the ways I want to. I've always used Libby's, so it is a brand I feel comfortable with.This pumpkin has no additional flavorings or spices in it (it is not the pumpkin pie filling).

Decent product and (IMO) this is the most consistent canned pumpkin available. ... Any remainder of the can seems to freeze well too.A small amount added to gravies for roast dinners gives a little 'depth' to the gravy also.

As an American Libbys Pumpkin has been in Americans homes for many generations. It is used for all kinds of baking, from breads, pies and cookies. You can find loads of easy recipes online btw, and even if you never cooked with pumpkin I promise Libbys makes it easy.I had my Libbys shipped to me here in The Netherlands every year in bulk for my autumn and holiday cooking. I could make my own but then I would have to cook it and blend it etc... and do that every time I want to bake no way! I pay premium price for it because of the shipping and it is worth every cent spent!

Have used the recipe on the can every year since moving back home from the States over 20 years ago. No other brand makes our family favourite october pie.

The secret is in the ammount of spices that you use .My granny had her own recipe when baking this pumpkin pie .If you bake it ,it will come ,that fragrance of cinnamon and cardamom working together to enrich the splendid mesmerising scent of the fresly baked pumpkin pie.The first can of pumpkin puree i have served it fresh out of the can simple as,it smells amasing .This pumpkin puree is out of this world !Spoil yourself with a tasty pie !
