This has been very useful item, and while it is small, and hence won't provide very good coverage, it's good enough for reflecting light onto one person or object, or two people posing very close to each other. Having tried this as my first reflector, now that I can see what useful pieces of kit they are, I'm probably going to buy a much larger diameter one too. The translucent part could be a little thicker, to better diffuse a flash, but this isn't a big deal, and might not be a problem at all if you had a flash with one of those little built-in plastic diffusers (I'm using an old, totally manual Vivitar that doesn't even bounce - and yes, I know this is silly, since a Yongnuo would cost next to nothing and would be miles better!). I especially love the gold reflector for giving a nice warm and healthy looking glow to the subject's skin in low kelvin light. This is very reasonably priced, and has been very durable - I've had it for about 9 months, using it just a few times a month, but I'd say I've already gotten enough value out of it.

I'm just going to jump on the bandwagon here - but for good reason! This product is simply astounding. The price of £11 is good enough, but maybe you'd expect a so-so product that would only be good for small film/photo projects? No way! This thing has 5 different reflective surfaces, from gold to silver to translucent white, that allow for all kinds of diverse lighting tricks and tactics for a perfect shot. It's a great size and folds up easily into a nice bag for easy transport to different locations. I struggled with lighting for a while before I took my work more seriously, and upon buying this I have already found ways to erase annoying lighting issues - like silhouettes, one sided light sources and overly powerful artificial lights that create too much glare.Those going into filming (like myself) or photography and are in need of improved lighting: you can't go wrong with this thing!

Ok, I ordered this with extreme reluctance as '5 in 1' and it costs just over £10? probably really rubbish quality, looked at the average ratings, read some reviews, I thought its hardly a huge loss if it is useless but it came the following day and wow.Doesn't rip or fall to pieces when you get it out, I have used others during college and university that costed top dollar that fair enough were easier to fold away after using but as long as you get the image you want with it I wouldn't say if it takes you a minute instead of 20 seconds to put it away its not the end of the world.Bottom line is I didn't think it would suit the purpose at all, it has, buy it, if you wan't one that folds away easier, go spend £50+ lol

So, after searching for a decent reflector... Thank god I found this one, do not be afraid of:. The large-sized version, it is actually manageable to hold for quite long and to use it as a background for portraits. Its price, it is made of a good-quality fabric and the different sides will get the job done just as described in the product page.. The zippers, they seem fragile but actually they aren't made to take a beating, are they? They are durable.. Folding it up, it's easy! Just put your hands in opposite sides of the reflector and twist them in opposite directions.. Different uses, a reflector isn't only useful in the studio but also outside and not only to diffuse light, use it as a fill light.The product came very well packaged and inside a portable bag which is gonna help you carrying the reflector around.

Folds down to a very portable size. Really good value for money

I'm an amateur photog, only self taught and I've never had a reflector before. I must say I'm glad I read reviews. This size seems quite large if you've never had one, but I think it's fantastic! You really need that extra coverage when shooting anything that isn't a product shot in a studio. The diffuser did well with a mock newborn setup (I used a baby doll on a beanbag) & some direct window light. If it were any smaller, I would have had bright light around the edges of the beanbag (probably only 4 or 5 cu ft).I'm satisfied with the build quality. I can't imagine anything being much more substantial. When I zip the cover over the diffuser it's a tight fit, but that should be expected. You don't want a floppy reflector. You can shimmy the diffuser down the cover a bit and it makes it easier to zip.I've found the diffuser on its own is hard to collapse, but once I put the cover on, it's easy to fit back into the original bag.Really for the price, you can't beat this deal. Treat your products well and they should outlast their expected expiration date.

Small yet perfectly formed - there's a knack to folding them back into the pack, but still relatively straightforward. I can't believe I've gone this long without ever purchasing a reflector to help with those tricky lighting situations. Now that I have, my best photographs are so much better it's hard to believe. The 5-in-1 Collapsible Reflector Disc has a disc to help with every lighting situation from too much shade to too much sun and truly everything in between. I have used other reflectors and never had this much success with my photographs. This product delivers as described. It is versatile, works well and is very functional. Great in build quality, very portable, good foldability, no wrinkles, good color options, provides very good diffusion for photo quality and a very good value for the money. I highly recommended it!

Bought the reflector for days when I would be doing outdoor portraits but didn't think I'd need a large reflector - and didn't have someone to hold one for me. As with many. other reflectors, there are five different discs for different kinds of reflection & it's very lightweight. The only thing is that it's more difficult to fold than a large reflector. Have no problem collapsing the larger ones but this one is...challenging. Maybe I just need to use it more often but at this point it's a bit harder folding it so it'll fit back in its small case.
