PHILIPS12496SVB2 PY21W Silver Vision, Indicator Bulbs with Silver Coating (2 x Bulbs)

Bought these when I fitted new smoked indicator lenses to the car. These look great and hardly any orange shows through the new lenses. Well priced and nicely made.Flash really brightly, so think some Philips headlamp bulbs are going on the parts shopping list. Recommended. 👍🏻

Good fit, silver good and does reduce that orange yoke look. When on bright Amber light nearly better than original as sharper. Overall brilliant product and now have replaced front and back indicators.

Seems these get mixed reviews as to whether they are fully silver or silver capped.The set that I received were fully silver coated, but they do have a very slight orange tinge.Check the photos. These are a before and after shot. Fitting took a couple of minutes, it's worth noting that the pins are offset so make sure these will fit your car before ordering.All in all I'm very happy with them,they are nice and bright when indicating and I think they do get rid of that horrible orange hue.

I changed the indicator lenses from orange to clear ones on my BMW E46 3 series, but wanted rid of the ‘fried egg’ look due to the normal orange bulbs. I ordered these Phillips Silvervision bulbs rather than go for the cheaper unknown ones as I suspect the Phillips ones might last longer, and their bulbs are good anyway. The bulbs arrived quicker than expected, as I thought they would arrive after Easter.They fitted straight into the front indicators, but not the rears. While the little pins on the side of the base of the bulbs are offset, the bulb socket on my car’s rear indicators will only take 180-degree-pin bulbs. The way I got around it was to file down one of the pins, and the bulb fitted into the socket without problems.Now the car has a cleaner look when the indicators are off due to the silver bulbs, but are orange as usual when working. They are a bit pricey, hence it loses a star, but I recommend them.

The rear indicator lenses on the R56 are clear and I have orange bulbs, these have a silver appearance but flash orange. It's the little things.

If you own a vehicle with nice headlights and don't want unsightly orange indicator bulbs showing, then i can recommend these bulbs. They appear silver and blend in with the headlamp but actually flash orange when indicator/ hazard light are used. I would buy again .

Removed the existing amber bulbs and replaced with these. No longer have the 'fried egg' look at the front of the car. Silver coated bulbs, but they flash amber.

My indicators take orange tinted bulbs, but with standard orange tinted bulbs I think that the car ends up looking untidy as the orange tint is always visible.With these bulbs when not in use there is very little orange tint show through, giving a clean silvered look to the front and back of the car. However when in use they still give an unambiguously orange bright indicating light.Thoroughly recommended!
