Smiffys Wandering Gunman Belt and Holster

This set is EXCELLENT value for money.Really good quality belt and holster. We are using 3 of them in a production for quality Jane and they are good enough to cope with the blank-firing Colt revolver's we are using. The guns are secure even with all the dancing around - especially with the nice addition of the leg-tie on.The photo with this review shows the belt laid out with a toy (cap-gun) revolver in it. I'll add one with the replica's when they come.The 'leather' is thick yet supple and the belt is 7.5cm/3 inches wide with a good buckle. The fastening strip of leather is only a couple of mm thick but this makes it easier to make extra holes if needed. The Main 'Belt' slips underneath so it still looks good even if you're at the end of the strip.My 'Belt Line' for this - just at the top of my pelvis - is 40inches/102cm. There's still another 10cm on the fastening strip but some people may struggle depending on where they want the guns to sit.

I got this leather holster to pair with a toy gun for a western themed costume party. It's a good size and lightweight. I find it comfortable to wear and it holds my toy gun nicely. It has a nice look to it and it paired well with the costume. The durability of the belt and fastener is a bit iffy, I found it drops down more than I'd like, and it's a little flimsy, but it does the job. This is a cheap and cheerful little item, fun for a costume party and of perfectly decent quality for the price.

It's faux leather and quite thick in places with a real metal buckle on both the belt and holster.I was just looking for a cheap holster and belt for my 'Woody' cowboy costume but this is too good!I bought a metal cap gun to complete this and it looks amazing! (Peterkin Diecast Cowboy Gun)I'm a size 32-34 Waist and it fit me just fine.

It squeaks when you walk are move around. It traps the gun because it is made of cheap material. I bought two and they were not consistent in their sizing although there was no size option so it was reasonable to suppose that they would be suitable for a medium size as seen on the model. My husband had to wear the holster with his own belt and he is medium sized. But hey.....you get what you pay for. It was only for a fancy dress and not a country and western festival but let's face it; you would never turn up to a country and western festival wearing a cheap gun rig.

Great product and looks authentic

The product that I received was certainly *not* "excellent value for money", as one other reviewer reported. Perhaps different product batches are going out under the same description but with significant variability in quality. This is not a consistently well-made product - in fact partly broken on delivery.Stitching was coming loose from two or three places. The belt is made from two pieces. One is quite thick and feels tough. The other is the part with the belt holes in it and it is made from the same plastic material but it is much thinner. This part is stitched on to the thicker material, and this is the point at which the product is failing. Stitching is coming out and some of the thinner material was ripped already, where it is stitched, when we took the belt out of the packaging. It's just not strong enough.The holster itself is okay and my little boy seems pleased with that, and he is using it in a different belt, but I feel a tad ripped off, given that this is meant to be a belt and holster kit.My advice would be to research very carefully and pay more for decent product. Visit a toy shop if possible. Such items are difficult to buy "Sight unseen".

Well, ordered this thinking I would get what I paid for, but no, it is very cheap but looks the part, a great add on to my western fancy dress. The belt is clearly plastic, the fastening part a little on the thin side, but it will hold together for the night fits me well 34 inch waste, the leg tie is great, put a cap gun in there and you can re-live your fast draw days. It is really comfortable and provided you are 34inch waste or less you can get that slung down feature you see on the picture, I would recommend this for your western fancy dress....

This is a great piece for fancy dress with a thick and robust main belt and well made holster which slides over the top. As far as the materials go, the only weakness is the smaller fastening belt/buckle; the buckle is solidly made but this smaller belt is very thin and feels flimsy.I have a 32 inch waist and it fits comfortably with a couple of inches of spare belt length. The overall look is fantastic for both western and sci-fi costumes and it stands up well to multiple uses.
