Interesting pencils with impeccable pedigree. Hope you can find a suitable sharpener!
These are nice to use, obviously not great for fine work but particularly good for large areas. Well and long established make. Not sure about light fastness but would think this type of pencil is more suitable for colouring books anyway rather than fine art. Finding the right sharpener is a problem. Lovely pink in the set.

love them...
Koh-I-Noor Magic Jumbo Triangular Coloured pencils are the perfect colouring pencil especially for those who take their colouring serious. I love the varied colours you can achieve with a simple stroke of a pencil. I love these especially for natural scenes as with nature there is no just one colour you can use to bring out the natural beauty of the many colours throughout nature. These are a pleasure to use and I love each of the pencils as with a glide of the pencil, either lightly or using a heavier hand you can achieve so many different colours and varied ranges especially with each of the pencil leads containing two or three separate colours makes these unique when it comes to colouring in.One huge bonus for me is the fact that each pencil is shaped like a three side triangle, this makes them so easy to grip and even more comfortable to hold.I am happy to recommend Koh-I-Noor Magic Jumbo Triangular coloured pencils as they are a pleasure to use with an excellent unique way of colouring in.

Multi-coloured pencils
I bought these pencils after recommendations from other members of an adult colouring group I belong to. I used them yesterday on a picture and tried every pencil. The pencil leads are multi-coloured each in a tone of the same colour, i.e. there are three shades of blue in one, three of green in another etc. But I was a little disappointed as the different shades did not show up as I would have hoped. Maybe with practice I will get the hang of using them. They are actually triangular in shape and a little larger than the 'normal' colouring pencils I have, but they are very comfortable to use - I turned them now and again and that helped with the shade changes.

magical pencils
The first time I used these pencils I thought wow, the effect on the paper is magical, I cant get enough of them. The large size makes them easy to use, they add the wow factor to your image

They are so fun to use!!!
I've been eyeing these up for a while and finally bought them to add to my collection. I love these pencils they bring such a unique colouring to things I've drawn. They are a bit awkward to sharpen due to the shape but otherwise they are excellent pencils.

OK
Bought these to ring the changes with my colouring in books as they looked fun. They are actually fairly good quality but they do have their limitations.Firstly, they do vary. Each jumbo pencil does have 3 colours in the lead, but some work better than others. The pink is rather insipid and doesnt show much variance. Likewise the yellow. The black is called Titanium Metal and has a scratchy feel and an unusual metallic effect. You dont have much control over them but that may be part of the fun, not quite knowing how the colour is going to show.I would think kids would love these, but I'm not sure if I will use them much, as I prefer to have more control over what I am colouring in and the choice of colours is pretty limited. However, I will keep out the 2 greens and brown as they are the best and the most consistent and do have a nice effect. One great addition is the neutral blender pencil. It works well. But why didnt they include a suitable pencil sharpener as well? You will need a jumbo sharpener or use a knife as I did. The wood and lead are soft and easy to use a knife on though. But one unexpected plus is that as the leads are so big, you dont need to sharpen them for simply ages. And yet they seem to cope well with pretty detailed work. They are soft but dont wear down much. The colour of the outer case doesnt really match up to the colour you get so you have to pay more attention to the lead tip to guage what colour effect you might get. They are supposed to be 'ergonomic' to hold but I actually found my writst aching somewhat using these, perhaps because I am used to thinner pencils. The cardboard box is adequate and keeps the price down but it's fiddly getting them in and out the box.All in all, didnt quite do it for me, but they didnt cost much and it was nice to try something a bit different.

Fantastic quality
Love these pencils! I use them for adult colouring but my 8yr old some also loves them (I may have to buy another pack at some point!).Some colours are more of a mix than others, they do some lovely effects and it's nice to see what colour you will get!I've included a picture so you can see how they turn out, I personally love the element of surprise not now ing how the picture will look when it's finished. The pencils are fantastic quality, do not splinter or break easily. You will need the special sharpener to go with them as they are huge.

Perfect for plants!
Really good idea! I used to have some pencils that had all colours in but these are so much better. I have a colouring book for grown ups which has alot of trees, plants and leaves in it and i was getting a bit bored of using the same colours over and over again but these are fab! Perfect for colouring leaves and plants because they vary in colour like a leaf/bark/plant would. The red/orange and yelloworange perfect for autumn leaves, both greens are good and the brown is good too, haven't really used the other colours much yet, may have to buy another colouring book..... Only a couple of small issues, 1 they are quite big so not great for small details and 2 you need to either use a knife or get a specific sharpener to sharpen them!
