Woodside 10 x 8 Vinyl Storage shed with Foundation and three fixed window

After much research we decided to go with this product and have been absolutely delighted with the outcome.We opted to have a concrete base and taking previous reviews increased the base dimensions by three inches for both length and width, the footprint of the shed base is perfect for the shed. We also placed the base so that there is a walk way right around the shed this proved invaluable during the roof construction.The instructions were clear and easy to follow we did not attempt to 'jump ahead' of them although it was tempting. All the parts were well labelled and indeed many of the metal parts were 'stamped' labelled. There were excess screws, plugs and pins. As to the build it is most definitely a two person job if not three at times! - if only to hold steady the wall panels at the stage prior to wall completion. We built the shed on the base. With patience, conversation and referring to the instructions it went remarkably smoothly.We attached the shed only after inserting a plywood floor - the measurements for which in the instruction book were spot on - after completion. This allowed the structure to be 'squared' and then attached the shed to the base by moving each panel in turn.Overall the shed was completed in six and a half hours. The attaching to the base and the flooring took a further three hours.This is a SUPER product - a real looker! The real bonus is that it will not have to be painted every year!

Very heavy delivery (everything in one box and the delivery guys really struggled). For me that was not a problem since they didn't have to go far, but please consider if you need someone to walk with it through your side entrance to the garden (they won't do it). You will be left with opening the box and carrying each bit individually through.Wear gloves when handling the plastic sheets (top tip!).I left my pieces in the rain for a couple days and this resulted in the labels for some components being illegible. You can work it out from the instructions, but it would save time if you preserved those labels.instructions were easy to follow, and I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Needed help only in the initial steps of slotting in the side walls and holding them until the structure became complete and stable. Do not do this in moderate wind! The structure becomes stable when all the walls are up and the top supports are screwed into them. I didn't have time to complete in one afternoon (rain, darkness...) but the structure was very stable after mounting the roof supports.I was really surprised to find that I only need an hour next day to complete it. The roof was a doddle (with a correct height ladder - 2 metres).Overall quite pleased with the result, which will be a storage shed for hobby stuff. Do not use for anything valuable, as the doors can easily be kicked in. In fact, I would go as far as to advise you don't bother with a lock, since it won't prevent entry, and it just indicates there is something valuable inside (which there probably isn't). So prevent the door getting kicked in by not locking it!The construction is pretty flimsy I must say, but surprisingly stable and robust once it is all built. Yet to see whether I have leakage problems. When the weather is dry I will go round and silicon all the plugs from the outside anyway.The diagrams sometimes were difficult to figure out (since I had lost some labels). The only way is to count the holes and slots along some posts in order to figure it out. Don't rely on lengths and scales being right: count the holes!Overall this took me 6 hours to put up, but I think with better labels it would have gone quicker. As I said, helper required just for about 1 hour whilst the sides went up.

Once it's put up it's made of an excellent, durable material, so we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this USA manufactured product. It took us much longer to put together at first as our electric drill was faulty but after we replaced that it was a much speedier process.Perfect size for our garden to store so many things from the children's bikes, toys, garden equipment and even a 6 foot long treadmill! The shed looks great too, we've had have lots of compliments from family and friends who said it looked like a little summer house as opposed to a normal wooden garden shed!If this is the size you need and within your budget, we would highly recommend this product.

Flimsy build, rather difficult to put it together and winds in Scotland are a challenge for the shed. Albeit it stands up so far, I am not hugely disappointed as it serves its purpose and will hopefully last, only time will tell. I will try to remember to update this based on what happens to the shed within a year or so.
