I own and operate a golf car repair facility and I've been installing these as a less expensive alternative to the factory part. The product comes well packaged so you should receive it in very good condition. I've installed several of these and each has performed perfectly. I generally order an average of 6 of these at a time from this company. You can not beat the price. I definitely recommend this starter-generator.

Ordered for a 2004 Club car. The product was delivered as expected and on time. The product was sufficiently insulated with no damage noted. I installed the starter/generator, and performed adequately. The only comment I would make, is it would have helped if there were instructions, and if it were needed, to reverse starter rotation. There was no problem as the Club car has clockwise rotation. A BIG PLUS. Can't beat the price

It locked up on me and one of the rubber pieces and the coil for the magnets fell out. Then when I opened it up there was a bunch of shredded stuff some copper stuff was completely bent counterclockwise and the thing with the magnets on it was bent with 3 of the magnets chipped and one was missing so I assume it got ground up. Not going to buy this starter gen again. If you drive it more than 30 minutes at a time don’t buy this product. Basically only for non-overly time consuming drives like for golfing or driving to a neighbors house.

Bolted right up and works good on a 1982 Harley Davidson golf cart! Great price and value for the money. No complaints

Got this for my 74 Amf 3 wheel golf cart. Works fine other then having to switch pulley from previous starter.
