SENSATIONAIL Peel Off Nail Shield Base Strips (2 in 1 solution)

Strips can be cut to any shape or size to support a Brocken nail. Invisible but a roughish texture. I paint over it and no one notices it’s there. Better than a plaster!!!

Time consuming to put on properly. If you don’t it significantly affects the appearance of your nails.Easy enough to remove but will stick with the liquid gel (despite the cost) as far simpler and quicker.

I give 4 stars as it depends what varnish you use so the creases don't show. I don't use gel any more as I care about the condition of my hands. These work the same with varnish as gel. No stinky messy remover needed. Whether it's gel or varnish you use they last on average about 3 days. In fact I find gel come off sooner.

I have to change my gel coat quite often due to my job so these are great. So easy to get off and they last on your nails for a good amount of time. Most I've got is about a week but I do work with acetone so that probably didn't help. I was pleasently surprised it actually lasts that long with my hands being in chemical's all day. Some sizes need cutting but as long as you follow the instructions to coat the top of the nail it's a great option!

Really hard to apply evenly so you end up with creases. I also found that the nails didn’t last as long as they usually would - one had pinged off within a few hours and I’d lost three more within two days. Won’t be using again.

Difficult to apply

I was excited to try these but the application of them is very difficult, as previous reviewers have said. They wrinkle and bubble very easily when you're trying to stick them to your nails. I'm sure if you could get passed this stage, they may work wonderfully, so unfortunately 1 star.

Basically impossible to use, you’re better off getting a peel off base coat!!

No era lo que esperaba. Las compré para proteger las uñas del daño del esmalte permanente y que me durara más la manicura.Vi alguna reseña en youtube y parecía que era lo que buscaba .... pero a mi personalmente se me han despegado con mucha facilidad..Lo practico que si veo bien es que es pill-off que te lo quitas como si fuese una pegatina,pero a la vez no se agarra bien a la uña cuando la maquillas .La idea es buena y deberían mejorar este tipo de producto.

Ottimo prodotto, bisogna applicarlo con cura per evitare bolle ma svolge perfettamente la sua funzione. Particolarmente indicato per chi ha le unghie sottili e fragili, evita di utilizzare lime e solventi che danneggiano il letto ungueale. Lo smalto si toglie con estrema facilità e ha comunque una durata accettabile (ca. 10 gg, dipende anche dalla qualità dello smalto).

Schont die Nägel, wenn die Gelnägel regelmässig angewendet werden.Der Nagellack kann auch viel einfacher entfernt werden.Sehr empfehlenswert, brauche sie immer.

Une esthéticienne m'a posé ce genre de patchs : du coup j'ai pu voir comment elle faisait avant de le faire moi-même et ainsi éviter les problèmes signalés par d'autres. La notice est bien faite mais c'est vrai que de l'avoir vu faire, ça aide. Il est important de choisir des patchs moins larges que l'ongle. Il faut les attraper du côté droit avec le bâtonnet en bois, les poser, les lisser et les rabattre sur le doigt. Enfin délicatement, on lime l'ongle et cela coupe le patch à ras de l'ongle. Comme je disais, c'est plus facile quand on l'a vu faire...

I purchased these on sale at Target, but I will definitely continue to buy them, next time from Amazon most likely. These protectors work great so far. You don't even have to find a shield that fits perfectly. I managed to do both hands with a single set of shields because even if the shield is a tad small, it works. (More applications in one package. Yay!)Applying these is similar to applying the dally Hansen nail polish strips. It's best to first apply near the center of the cuticle, then, press firmly at the center cuticle to anchor the shield. Next, pull and slightly stretch the shield to the free edge of the nail and press down the center. Lastly, smooth down the sides. If you get bubbles, use the backside of the wood stick to smooth it. Even if you get a wrinkle, if you can press it down enough, once you apply the polish, the gel will level it out. After the application is complete, use the file to file downwards only (preferably only a single stroke down for each spot the file touches on your nail). Then remove excess. When applying polish, make sure to apply all the way over the free edge to seal the shield away from moisture when you shower or wash hands.I still do dishes (though with gloves on). I have fashion colored hair (blue, purple, teal, green, etc.) so as it is, I wash my hair separately of taking a shower. I wash my hair with cold water to keep the dye in and even washing my hair hasn't ruined the nail shields. I've had the polish in the photo on for 10 days now. I will be redoing my nails soon only because of my nail regrowth (you can see how much gap there is between the polish and my cuticle).I will update this review if I have any trouble with removal.
