Strange film good results
Ilford processed the first 2, good value but processing has become costly so this is Art. Next time I may use a lower ASA, high ones are always grain infested and I found out what silver print does !! Very interesting 1920s appearance, so I have to re-learn B&W photo which is where I started of course with Box Brownie. Interesting but you need strong contrast scenes and structures, very good for walls in mountains, I may scan and post some on Google when I get around to fixing the doors and gardening the cat. It works on Canon, I doubt you would get much with poor camera and lens, it requires the best and delivers if you remember B&W photo rules. Ilford are very good at process and nice packaging like DVD boxes to stand on shelves and buy more shelves.

Better than digital-ISO 3200 film
Bought this film to try out a bit of low light photography. Performed like a trooper:) If you need a black & white film for low light/non flash photography situations, look no further:)

It's what I wanted and...cheaper as an online purchase
The Ilford 3200 film is what I frequently purchase for my work and I only decided to purchase online when I was informed by a close source that it is actually cheaper than buying them from my regular store. And, it is! Delivery was fine, they came within time and they were indeed that bit cheaper, so definitely a fine purchase. There are no issues to report either as the films work standardly fine too.

Useful ISO, but questionable results
For the flexibility of shooting at 3200, this is a great film. However, as you might expect, the grain is heavy. I exposed correctly, but the results were VERY dark. About 1 stop or so underexposed. This film loves to be overexposed a bit, but developed as normal. A nice speciality film, but certainly not going to be a regular purchase for me.

B+W excellence
Well, this really is classic stock (IMO) and this particular stock was good quality. Really pleased with this stock and the results obtained. Obviously, one would need to make sure that the characteristics of this sort of stock are what they are looking for before purchasing as the images that result have a distinct quality/character about them.

Ilford film is a bit of a love hate relationship for me
Ilford film is a bit of a love hate relationship for me, however the 3200 is great film especially at night in brightly lit city-scapes. I develop it myself using Kodak D76 which is the same as Ilford's ID11 but cheaper.

lovely stuff
nice and grainy just as I wanted. Had to send it away for processing or wait an age to have it done locally but worth the hassle.
