Despite reading some negative and some downright weird reviews of this product, the clippers arrived today, well packaged and in perfectly good order. The clippers were partially charged, sufficient for my wife to give me a haircut. This took roughly 5 minutes for a no.1 crop. Compared to my cheapo clippers (Thank you Amazon - £12.50 in April), these are far superior and very sharp making the job so much easier, the result is a smooth, even crop with no stray hair. Afterwards I plugged 'em into the charger and the clippers were fully charged in around 20 minutes.In reply to one rather strange review criticising the 'on-off' button, it's a perfectly ordinary button and operates in a perfectly ordinary manner. Dunno if the more expensive Wahl clippers are any better, but these seem pretty damn good for the price. The only gripe I have in fact, is the amount of unnecessary plastic packaging used, which will end up bobbing around in the Pacific Ocean - a complaint I can level at most products. Why use plastic when paper will do? Apart from that all in all, highly Recommended.

I bought my first 5 years ago, and they are still working perfectly, so impressed that I bought a set of the same model for my brother for xmas this year.Charging does not take long, and theres enough heads to choose the desired length, I just use 3, longer on top, shorter on sides and back and the shortest around the ears and neck.Would buy another if it ever went wrong or worn out or died but has lasted 5yrs without issue.

Bough to replace an earlier model Wahl which was too heavy and slippery. This one's good to use - still a bit weighty, but much better shaped to hold on to. Works well and is easy to clean - a bit odd that it came with no blade guard though.

Good, solid, simple and effective. I use this regularly for cutting my hair and trimming my beard. It has lasted longer than the Phillips I used before and holds a charge brilliantly. I can easily spend up to an hour cutting my hair and beard before it starts struggling, and its multiple attachments and carry case are very useful and easy to use. I rinse it in the sink too and it has given me little trouble so the waterproofing seems ok (I did however seal it up with superglue for added waterproofing, just to be safe)Overall a very good hair clipper for anyone who wants a shave or a hair cut with no fuss or hassle and one that I would definitely recommend over Phillips.

I bought this clipper to replace a 12 year old earlier model of Wahl lithium rechargable clipper and whoah am I dissapointed. I cannot point to single performance improvement over the old model and to me the most noticable difference is that even with a number one comb fitted it does not cut any where near as close as my old clippers. On first use I had about four days of growth from a number one cut with the old clippers. I fired these up with a number one fitted and it barely touched my hair. Definitely not what I was expecting. I now own three Wahl clippers and to be honest they all cut to different lengths with their respective No.1 comb fitted but these are way out there.

I recently started to cut my own hair. I don't have much experience with loads of machines, but this one gets my hair shaved down very evenly with minimal effort. Soon, I'll use it for a third cut and the battery still seems charged enough to get through it. Couldn't be happier with a machine with all of these benefits for this price.

Clippers seemed fine but failed after being used twice. Seller has only made a 50% refund as we weren't able to return the original box. On this basis wouldn't recommend the product or the seller.

Best quality hair clippers I've ever owned. The cut is even and smooth and doesn't snag on my head. The build quality feels really strong and the fact that you can give it a 3 min splash charge to get about another 10 minutes use if it runs out of juice half way through shaving my balding head is great. I've used it comfortably to trim my facial hair to an even stubble as well, although it's too big to comfortably trim to beard lengths with the comb attachments. Highly recommended for hair and stubble.
