Gardencoin Recessed LED Deck Lights, Heavy Duty Soffit and Stair Lighting Outdoor, 1W 12-24V Low Voltage Landscape In Ground Well Light, Underwater Light Ultra Waterproof, Dimmable(3000K-6pack)

Purchased the 1W 95 Lumens version and couldn't be happier. The "84 Lumens" ones I bought from another seller barely glowed and couldn't light my hand in the dark from a foot away, these were bright enough that I filtered them down in many places to match my taste. The packaging was perfect- a sturdy box containing 6 smaller boxes containing a polystyrene bagged, face scratch protected taped light with a convenient 22" power lead wrapped in a "twisty tie" with separated, tinned tips for easy connecting. I cut up the bag and used the tie to make a simple filter to cover my buried lights and reduce direct line of sight dazzle or the lighting intensity where I wished it (see pic), and it works like a charm. This polystyrene "filter" I made shows no discoloration from the heat (2 weeks in) due to the excellent heat dissipation design of this wonderful little light. Worked so well I bought a second box as I couldn't see any possible improvement for my particular landscaping needs. Inexpensive, bright, convenient, almost negligible heat and easy to hardwire in- couldn't be better!

I purchased 3 packs of Gardencoin Recessed LED Deck Lights 1 watt lights. Construction and material were robust and great quality. Installation is very straight forward (used 1-1/8" fostner bit for the holes) and the lights themselves are very bright but not too bright. I used the lights for around the fascia, uplighting under the cable railing and in 1-1/4" PVC pipe for uplighting of my palm trees. They look great on my queen palms! The queen palms range from 15 to 30 feet tall and the 1 watt lights highlight the branches just enough.The lights work great, it was a great price, and customer service was top notch. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Our beautiful new beach house deck had one major flaw. It is very difficult to see the steps from the top even in the daytime because the deck material blends so well. We knew lights would be helpful at night but also needed a visual cue in the daylight. We also needed lights that would hold up to the harsh coastal weather. It seems these lights will address all of our needs.The lights can be installed facing up which will provide a daytime visual cue and they can be dimmed to a reasonable level so they aren't shining bright and making the steps even harder to see at night.We did have to test out several dimmable drivers as well as a couple of dimmer switches but now that we have the proper setup the lights are perfect. The product was very well made and high quality but the product description page was a bit misleading. The stainless steel elastic snap (needed to hold the light tight against the working surface in a soffit installation) was not as long as the product description photo depicted. The elastic snap was much shorter than the drawing showed- would've been helpful to show the actually measured length of the snap or have a more accurate drawing. In my installation, the light would not stay up flush with the surface.

Between my side and back yards, I currently have 120 of these lights installed as area accent lighting.The good:- They are SUPER bright. Like, at full power, I do not need any additional lights on in the yard to see everything in it clearly. And they hurt to look kind of a lot at when at full brightness.- They seem to be made with very high material and construction quality - which I would expect, given their weather rating for submerged pool use.The bad (kind of):- I have these lights on a dimmer with 24v drivers, and they ARE susceptible to voltage drop. Not all lights dim at the same intensity for a given dimming setting, which is kind of annoying - although with so many individual lights, I'm going to say it would be almost impossible to dial in EVERY light to the same brightness unless in a very controlled environment, so I'm not taking away a star for this. My plan is to do voltage injection at multiple points around each circuit and hope that helps unify the light intensity when using the dimmed intensity settings.

The media could not be loaded. Installed (15) of these lights midway through summer 2023. In addition to the lights, the installation consists of a Lutron dimmer switch (PD-6WCL-WH), with a PLUSPOE 120 W 12V10A Dimmable LED Driver. I used 14/2 direct burial cable with waterproof connectors. The lights were programmed to come on (dimmed to 30%) daily 20 minutes after sunset, and off at 10:00PM. They looked amazing on my deck for a few months and then one by one started dying. By the end of winter, all of them were dead. I Purchased another box of (6) in April of 2024 to replace and see if my luck had changed. It hadn't, and within the first week of installation, one of them is already failing. The lights appear to be of good quality, are incredibly bright and very easy to install. Perhaps in a different configuration, they would have more longevity (kind of doubt it). I would not recommend using them with 12 V dimmer. See Video of the recently installed light failing.

I paired these this with a 12v led dimmer to light up a large set of indoor stairs. They were easy to install and are made very well. They provide a very clean look that can be used with either a contemporary or transitional look. I would buy again for the next project.
