Hi there. They are not velvet...the whole costume is a polyester type material. The stuff most kids dress up costumes are made of.

Great outfit

Needed a quick outfit for my son's Victorian day at school. Came quickly. Material is thin so wear normal clothes underneath. Material is soft. It's a dark brown colour. Son is happy with it. Do recommend. Son is 6 + tall for his age, brought M 5-7, can see fit in photo.

Bought this as a last minute costume for my sons xmas play 'a Christmas carol'. Very impressed with this costume and a very reasonable price for what you get. Good fit and seems reasonably good quality or that what you would expect from a dress up costume. Very fast delivery..... overall very happy 😀
