Gutermann Textile Glue Solvent 19ml/20g Tube, Benzisothiazolin, Dries Clear, 19x9.5x2 cm

I've been a seamstress for over 25 years and never really had to use this stuff very much at all. The ones I have used before, or should I say tried before, have failed massively in one way or the other and after reading some of the reviews I was a bit dubious. My son was making soft toys for gifts before Christmas and needed this to adhere some felt. I went through a few different brands, reading the reviews and settled on this.I was actually pretty impressed, it works! The things have never came back off, he used felt to plush and felt to felt. It adhered very strong and dried clear. You can't see any sign that he has used this.So yes it does work and now I know if I do need to use it I can grab some of this.

I bought this to help me sew on appliques on my crochet blankets.I crochet the appliques first and then apply the glue to it and wait a few seconds and then fix on to the blanket. It helps if I put some books or something heavy on the applique to ensure full contact.It is a very good glue as I found out when I made a mistake with an applique so I assumed it would come off easily but to my surprise, pleasant, I really had to tug and pull to get the applique off.My review is based on acrylic yarn and acrylic yarn appliques I haven't used on any other fabrics but I am planning to line a crochet blanket with the glue to help me to sew. Best fabric flute doesn’t bleed through after a while like most others

Wasn't expecting much success with Scout badges but actually they are really secure.

I used the glue to stick felt cut out on to a felt Christmas stocking and it worked really well. I would recommend it.

Does the job well, stained the lighter fabric a little. Glue does not come out smoothly and tricky to spread evenly.Good service from seller

Bought to repair a wall hanging and now it is as good as new. Strong bond and easy to use.

I bought the 30g size and it was great so went for the 20g tube when I needed more. What a mistake and utter waste of money. This was a white, thick glue, a bit like copydex. the first was a clear, easy to use glue. The 20g tube of glue was an utter waste of money as the tube was so hard to use, it was near impossible to squeeze the glue out and work neatly at the same time. So disappointing and upsetting to waste money. Never buy this unless you intend to cut it out of the tube.
