Important detail - Universe numbering starts at zero!
Prior to this device, I had always used USB to DMX adapaters for the variety of small church and theater systems I had configured. However, I needed to extend our normal DMX control system into additional universes, and this device seemed to fit the bill. Just connect up a wired network connection, set the IP address, and then point your Lighting Control software Artnet settings to that IP.One VERY important note, the Universe settings on this device start at ZERO. That means that the first Universe of DMX data will be called 0 on this device, but is likely called Universe 1 on your Lighting Control Software. This one detail consumed WAY too much time for me to finally figure it out (and if the very scant documentation that comes with this device mentioned it - I sure didn't see it).Other than that, it seems to be working great! (I'm going back to get another one)

Works well. PoE works fine. Power too.
Let me start by saying that I am an electrical engineer and have designed professional AV gear for over 20 years. I have designed many products with PoE and PowerCon connectors. I read the other reviews talking about PoE and dangerous power issues and I was confident that I have the skills to debug PoE and keep myself safe. Turns out it wasn't a problem. I had zero power, PoE, or safety issues. Before using the AC power (Powercon) connector I testing the wiring of the outlet and it was fine. I powered it up and tested it again and there were zero problems. I did open it up to look at the design and again, it was fine. There is additional insulation inside to prevent the AC power from shorting against the metal case.I then powered it up with my D-Link PoE Ethernet switch. I have previously tested this switch and know that it does a very good job of complying to the PoE specification. So while I haven't put this product on a US$15K PoE compliance tester, I am confident that its PoE implementation is good. It should be mentioned that most PoE products do not meet the full PoE spec, so it is not uncommon to have compatibility issues. I believe the other reviewers who report PoE problems, but I don't place all the blame on this product. I had no PoE issues.Everything else works as expected. It took me 5 minutes to get it working . Zero issues.I would recommend this product, and I know I will be buying more of them.

Fantastic Device
The documentation is not great but it works well.

Nice!
These work great for the money. I took a star off due to the wonky menus on it and no POE.

Awesome
This thing works great. I didn’t know what I was missing. Artnet is awesome. I started out buying a USB SoundSwitch but I really should have just got this and used QLC+. This works with SoudSwitch software too if you are married to that.

Worked for a 1yr and half
Purchased this back in 2023 and while initially it worked, it was a bit difficult to configure and find good software to work with it. but that is not the reason for the one star rating. I understand that there is a learning curve with any hardware/software but just the fact that it stopped working is the reason for the one star rating. Luckily our setup is simple enough that we can easily go back to our dmx controller which is over 6 yrs old and still working no issues. it was nice while it lasted.

Easy to setup and use
The media could not be loaded. Out of the box it is really easy to setup. One thing I learned without reading the instructions was that a long press on the enter button is what is used to save the setting. After setting the IP address I was able to connect instantly. The new power supply is 5 volts USB-C which works well. I am using "Photon" on an Ipad to control the lights and there is no lag when I send the lights a command.

Surprisingly capable little unit for it's price
As well as all the advertised functionality, it's solid metal and seems to be built like a tank compared to some USB ones I've used. The instructions on how to set it up are very confusing though and it takes a little bit of googling to get it working. Once it is running though it works great. Lightjams and Resolume auto detected it with no issues
