Excellent for diffusing light and looks professional
excellent product for my kotchen under cabinet project.Diffuses the light perfectly, making the overall finish look really professional (rather than a stuck on strip)Comes with a number of fixing clips and screws, which i didn't use as I opted for double sided tape, which was easier to apply and would t leave any holes of i ever came to removing them, plus it too no more than 60 seconds to install each aluminium profile.A lot of reviews mention the quality and thickness of the material. Im not sure what they want, but its the perfect thickness aluminium profile to house an RGB LED strip, it doeant need to be heavy duty. The plastic diffuser (I opened for the opal/ frosted) is really easy to install by first aligning rhe top or bottom, securing about an inch at 1 end then running your finger along to push it into the fixing. It's a 1 person job.All in all very happy with this product, it makes the LED strips look a lot nicer and the finish looks professional

Good value for money
Came quick. Nice and straight, plastic domes come with protective sheet on. Packaging Was a bit awkward, but all was intact , so I guess it served its purpose.I found cutting with a hack saw was a bit hard, so I ended up using my trusty dremil. Plastic domes were cut with a pair of sharp scissors.I did’t use the clips provided so I can’t comment on them, I used double sided tape and no more nails to hold the strips in place. No bleed through from the LEDs, as I got the bits to but fit nicely, take your time and do it right.I needed 5m in length, plenty in there to get it sorted.Translucency is more than I hoped for, but doesn’t look bad, spreads the light a bit and makes it less harsh, you don’t want 200LEDs shining in your face walking down Down stairs!Looks very professional when it’s done properly, which it is in my case!

Motorhome lighting update
Used with 12v LED tape (as available on Amazon) pictures show lighting before and after. The diffuser rails and covers needing cutting to size and this was easily done with a £2 junior hacksaw. Fitting of the plastic diffuser covers was perfect. The pictures show the lights to be a bit brighter than they appear in person, you can see the spots of LED up close but it does diffuse the light better than it would if it was just the LED tape in place.Due to how light the rails were (including LED tape fitted) double sided tape was used to fit these to avoid drilling for fixings and held up with no problems.I would use these again, happy with my purchase and the postage/packaging ensured the products arrived without damage.

These are good and are a good price
These where just what I was looking for. In my case a little bit fiddling about had to be done as they where put around my living room ceiling which was a bit scew but got there in the end. I hated the clips they are hard to work with in my opinion. Like many others I had to cut a length down to size and that was easy enough to to. I installed 15 meters around my ceiling and the final project looks really well. Yes it was hard work for me but even I got there in the end and would take on another project using these as they do look really good when lit.

V shaped casing - provides excellent protection and secure fixing
Just what we needed to finish the kitchen led strip lights off, great way to secure and protect the led lights, we have the kettle under this unit so this provides a great barrier from the steam, diffuses the light nicely, easy to fix into the clips, not so easy to clip on the top cover but with some patience you soon get the hang of it, start by getting one end in by pinching together, then secure the top edge in and run your fingers along the bottom edge you can do about 6” length at a time before realigning the top and continuing to slide the bottom into the track as you slowly run your thumb along, have also used it round the breakfast bar backboard, the led strips would have been unsightly and visible but these cover the unattractive circuits up nicely and provide protection to the strip lights being caught by feet and legs under the bar area, there is a clear protection over the top casing so ensure you pick this off

Brilliant piece of kit
Used this on the inside of a cupboard and then installed the LED's, perfect for the job.

Overall not a bad item, 2 star lost because.....
Overall not a bad item, 2 star lost becausea) the light doesn't spread evenlyb) It's very hard to put the cover inside the frame. Wear a pair of gloves before trying!

Simple and elegant, clips aside
The design of the mounting clips prevents the aluminium from sitting flush against a surface. However I solved this by drilling screw holes directly into the aluminium channel with a HSS drill bit and discarding the spring clips. This looks much neater, especially if (as I did) you're using the surface of the aluminium as trim to hide LEDs facing inward into a piece of furniture. The end result looks great.Easy to cut to length with a junior hacksaw. It's also possible to run 2-core cable through the triangular channel at the back of the aluminium profile, but only if you don't use the plastic end caps.
