Better quality than I expected
I ordered this and expected it to be plastic and lightweight (didn't read the product specs - weighs in at 1.2 kg). It's really sturdy with rubber feet to prevent it from slipping and sliding on whatever surface you have it set upon.Really easy to set up. You need to unplug your amplifier speaker cables, add in 2 extra cables from the amp to the device and then plug your speaker cables into whichever of the 4 inputs you want to on the back of the device. I've only set up a single set of speakers at the moment (will update when I have all 4 set up) as I still need to cable the speakers into the rooms in the house but the sound quality has not been affected by sending the sound through the device.Re comments regarding the relative flimsiness of the cable connectors on the back of the device - I've connected my speakers without issue and don't envisage having to continually connect and un-connect them so haven't found this to be an issue.Comes with handy stickers that enable you to label the switches relevant to the rooms your speakers are in.

Does it's job very well
Having purchased a small (and excellent) amplifier LEPY 2024A Plus Amplifier and connected it to a Google Chromecast audio, a cost effective way to distribute the signal to multiple speaker sets around the house was required and this device delivers that very well. The build quality is evident as the device has a decent heft to it (over a kilogram) and the buttons have a firm travel when pressed. One or more sets of stereo speakers can be in use at anytime although the button to the right should be pressed in when only a single pair is in use. There is an overload protection system built in and it requires no power. The sound quality is totally unaffected by this splitter and there is no detectable noise or click when additional speakers are turned on or off.The attention to detail evident in this device is what I assume separates this from the cheaper more plastic speaker switched on Amazon.

Good value
I wanted to connect a third set of speakers to my system, and this allows connect of four pairs of speakers, with four selector buttons. For some reason, mine arrived in a plain card box with no instructions. This seems odd, as all the others I have seen have a branded AV Link box. I managed to find an instruction sheet on line. This is required not because it's particularly difficult to connect, but to obtain an explanation of the fifth button marked "Single Pair Select" and how to use it. This is in fact a safety feature to ensure the amplifier is not presented with a speaker resistance of less than 5 ohm, which might cause amplifier damage. The build quality is good, the unit has a study metal case and the spring clip speaker terminals look to be of good quality. This is simply a "passive" switch box that does not require any kind of power source. All in all a good looking unit that looks to be working well, but something has gone wrong with the packaging and instructions. Perhaps mine was a returned unit that had been shipped out again? Anyway, four stars as the instructions were missing.

Excellent bit of kit
The unit is compact and sturdy with easy cable connections and does exactly what it was bought for. And at a very reasonable price.

Works well.
Considering how cheap it is, I didn't expect much but it works perfectly.Used it to run two separate pairs of speakers into two different rooms. Solved a problem cheaply.Other reviews mention the flimsy connections but mine is fine.Be aware that it won't take thick speaker wire. Not a problem for me as I don't fall for the audiophile myth that thick speaker wire is better. You may be one of these people in which case you need to bear this in mind.

Great sound quality - poor quality connections
The sound quality through this is spot on and the amplifier load is great with three sets of speakers connected. Just as well I bought a four way version as one of the speaker connectors failed when I operated the spring clip. Not even a slip of paper in the box with manufacturer details or instructions.

Easy fix, easy use... MARVELLOUS!
I purchased this to replace a faulty switch box from another company. It was easy to install and works a treat. It's matched with a Brennan B2 some Brennan shelf unit speakers, some Technics floor standing speakers as well as some QAcoustic A3020s (from Richer Sounds, which I highly recommend). Happy days! Punk never sounded so good.

Surprisingly good !!
Surprisingly good unit for the money here.. If you are looking for a basic audio splitter, then this works surprisingly well. With 4 spring loaded clips to allow you connect up seperate speakers, really is straight forward to use and with no seperate power requirement, you have full set up in a few minutes.Really loved the touch where they included some preprinted labels for the front buttons so you can label each button to turn on/off each area if required. I have mine hooked up to 6 speakers, so I have 2 speakers hooked up to one button with no quality issues - just press button to turn sound on/off in different zones.. I have mind hooked up to Marantz unit which allows me AirPlay music to different wired rooms. While ideally I'd love to move to Sonos type set up, haven't got there yet and as I have the wiring already in place, this unit does the job just great.I'm no audiophile so can't really comment on any quality loss.. All I know is that I like my music, listen to a lot and loud at times and so far I!ve had no issues at all with this unit...As I'm writing I'm wondering why I deducted a star in the rating.. Well, build quality is not the strongest, but that said, this does exactly what you need and for the price you won't be disappointed. I've owned and used this now for a number of months and a happy customer.. So just thought I'd pass on my feedback in case you were considering purchasing like me.., no issues my side so hopefully same for you..
