Hits All The Right Notes!
For a relatively new guitarist such as myself, I have found this product to be extremely beneficial. it strengthens the fingers and wrist muscles without discomfort, and is very compact for everyday use. This is the 5lb model which is one of the 'lighter' options, but does the job just fine in my opinion.A quality product and very useful buy for a new guitarist!!

God son loves it
I bought it for my godson and he was delighted. He plays several instruments and likes to be at his best. I had never heard of them but can see how useful it could be to those of us in out more mature years!

Much better than the standard gripmaster
I think it's worth the extra bucks, anatomically better, and the padding in the tops of the finger-springs is a welcome addition (no slipping, no pain at your finger-tips after a while). I still think that for guitar/violin players where the gripmaster essentially is a warm-up tool (since in general, dexterity, not power is the main goal), and a help for bends/vibrato (the only place where a little extra power is welcome) even the blue gripmaster (light) is probably too stiff. In my opinion this gripmaster is the heaviest one you should buy if you're a music instrument player, don't even look for the medium/hard ones.Oh, just a note: it's a little large/bulky if you have small hands. You should probably try before you buy.

Good
Good does as described but I rarely use it originally bought to strengthen fingers for guitar playing but I'd rather just play the darned thing!

Does't seem PRO
I own a couple of different versions of this line, but this is my first 'Pro' fingertrainer.I must say that I am not impressed. It seems unnecessary big and of oddly poor quality. The springs are alot more wobbly than the regular line. If you only pull in the one of the middle fingers, the plate can get stuck going out because it can shift just enough to cast the other plates. In general I would say that after trying this, I would have expected this to have been the cheaper line, not the PRO line of a brand I really like. Also, since I am a guitar/bass player, I need to angle my fingertips so that when I train, they simulate the movement I make on the instrument. But because the product is so big and clumsy, my hands cannot reach. This makes the item useless for me, and I therefore encourage you to try a similar product in real life, so that you avoid wasting money like I did.

Great exercise, ideal resistance
A a beginner bass player this handy pocket sized exerciser has been fantastic. It is great for warming up, improving flexibility and very effectively strengthening the pinkie and greatly reducing flying fingers.
