I give it a 5 Star
I just received this and I took Season 1 disk 1 out of the case but it was in there so tight the disk split on me so now I have to buy the boxset again. All the disks are in there far too tight so be careful when taking the disks out. This is my own fault and I take all the blame for it. All the other disks work otherwise.[EDIT] I recieved the second boxset that I ordered on monday just now. I managed to get all disks out of the case undamaged and put them into clamshell type cases. The picture quality (Upscaled to 4k) with my Panasonuc UB391EBK is very very good. The sound is clear too. I wish the show continued on though. I remember when it came on TV I watched every episode and when it never came back on after sason 1 I was wondering what was goiung on. I also watched the original Knight Rider when I was a teenager and loved that show too. This show isn't quite as good but its still a very good show. I hope that some studio decides to try another Knight Rider show.

It is let down by the visuals and a little dodgy camera work, otherwise, not bad... spoilers coming
So I spotted someone gave this 1 star, read her review and wandered if she even watched the whole series, or just part of an episode and didnt like, certainly wasnt describing the overall series which, as is continues, draws you in after the pilot episode.Question is, do we call it a remake when in reality, it actually continues on years later?Spoiler: Pilot Episode, YES we do see Michael Knight (The Hoff briefly in a scene with the lead character, who is actually Michael Knights son and becomes the reason why Mike then takes on his father mantle and name of Michael Knight... So Ms whatever your name is, watch is properly, the story is there. And Yes later on FLAG is revived. However, agreeing, most of it does seem to take place in desert regions, but then, thats a vast area of America anyway I guess, some of the stories are pretty good. What let the series down was the green screening and the filming in confined areas, fair enough this was during an experimental time when cameras were just getting smaller at a higher frame rate with crystal clear quality.Overall, it does have a spot on the shelf with the other boxed sets, it's not as bad as I thought it might be, it was axed too soon perhaps, but who knows, these concepts do have a tendency to creep back.

I Have now completed my Knight Rider Collection. (This review is for the Widescreen Version)
Knight Rider is one of the top shows of the 80's but it is the only one that doesn't have 5 seasons, thankfully I will use this as my fifth seasonthis includes the 2008 Filmmy collection is quite goodKnight Rider Season 1-4 (In Widescreen, Includes Knight Rider 2000)and thisKnight Rider Season 5 (The Complete First Season, and Includes Knight Rider 2008) (NOTE: THIS BOXSET IS ALSO IN WIDESCREEN)its a shame that Team Knight Rider isn't on DVD as I would love to see it (never seen it, hopefully in widescreen,)I am currently on Knight Rider Season 3, the first time I have ever seen the whole series.

Iconic tv series redone but was it any good
Now I am an 80's child and I loved the original tv series of knight rider but then again who didn't as it was so ahead of its time and the car was so iconicSo when I heard they were going to release a remake of it I thought I had to give it a watch and see if they did it justice but I am afraid that this did not happen I. now I can see why they only made 2 seasons of this show it was no where near as good as the original and should of never been thought of and just left Knight rider where it wasBut the cost of the DVD was of good value and the delivery was super quick which I can't fault them for so A plus for thatBut if you are looking to go down memory lane I would stick with the original tv series
