Bought as a present for my nephew who's loving doing art at school, bought as his first watercolour set and didn't expect much for the money I paid but was pleasantly surprised at the quality, I'd definitely recommend this for artists of all ages imho definitely worth more than the money I paid.

This is just the job for travelling and contains all that you need for watercolour sketching on the move. Despite being aimed at beginners, I have found the colours to be of good quality with very satisfactory opacity and permanence. The case is what makes it for me, being large enough for additional brushes, colours and pencils which you inevitably accumulate as time passes and yet small enough to go in a satchel with paper and a picnic. It is well-priced and practical and I have not felt the need to get anything more expensive.

This is an amazing starter kit and it has everything you need - the water and painting pad. But the paints are wonderful, the brushes are not the best but they do work and the set comes with 3 different size brushes which is wonderful.I do recommend this to anyone looking to start out in water colour painting. It is a great kit.

I guess you get what you pay for. Colours aren't particularly vivid and go muddy when mixed together. Still, they've got me into watercolour painting.

Bought for myself and my 7 year old daughter to teach ourselves with. I chose this set in particular because of the handy case that everything can be kept in. Great beginners set.

Great value for money. Lovelygift. I have now bought three and will be buying more. Very well received by young and old.
