Amazing! Exceeds expectations!
I received the buffer yesterday and tried it out last night. I used it with Turtle Wax Cutting compound to buff out new paint on the black front bumper of an my '04 Boxster I am detailing. It worked perfectly, saving a lot of "elbow grease" and time. A few more passes and I'll be ready to "clear coat". I then thought I would do a test area on a "Midnight Blue" Tesla S" I recently acquired. I first used "Mother's Micro Polish" at medium speed, wiped the area clean, and then applied a coat of "Mother's Premium Pure Brazilian Wax", and did a final buff with a black foam finishing pad. The shine is incredible! I love the cordless convenience of this little buffer and got good use out of the first battery, while the other battery was on the charger. It comes with several pads and accessories (which I already have plenty of) but I think that, for a novice buyer, they should include a description of what each pad is designed for. It also comes with a decent size, pretty nice, zippered carrying case. All that being said, only time will tell if the device will prove to be durable. I will be putting it through the rigors of consistent use on a weekly basis, and I hope it survives. I will update this review in about 6 months if it is going strong! If so, it's a nice unit with sufficient torque to get the job done and at an unbelievable price point. I have at least 6 other buffers, all "plug in" models, for comparison! (BTW ... I also use buffers for polishing my granite kitchen counter tops with "Griot's Garage Speed Shine" ... works like a charm!)

Good buffer for the price.
It does a good job, surprisingly high RPM, Very good variable speed. The vibration that come from it being a buffing machine can be a little hard on the palms.

Great value for the price... Lightweight and easy to use...
The buffers I used in the past were tethered to an electrical extension cord. This is a nice break from household power. The package came with two batteries and I was able to wax and buffer my Forester with just one battery. Besides, the battery charges fast enough, that you could use the second battery while the first is recharging. There are plenty of buffer pads for various types of work including 2000 grit sandpaper for restoring dull headlights. This is a good product, easy to use, and priced just right!

So far I've done one car and a motorcycle.Excellent for polishing/applying wax.Comes with lots of bonnets, two batteries and a nice bag for all of it to go in.Batteries last way longer than I anticipated. Charger is well made and fast.

Doesn't orbit, just vibrates
Used this on my car to try to remove some swirl and overspray from a repair. What I noticed is that anything other than the fastest speed it will bog down and be of little use. When its on the top speed the makes a lot of noise and it does rotate the assembly. The problem is that the orbital doesn't orbit, it ends up just causing the pad to vibrate. This may work as a palm sander, but doesn't work well as a polisher as it cant cut into the clear. The battery did do a good job.
