Who wants to spend a ton on costumes that are worn only on the rarest occasions? This was a great option for a carnival/circus-themed party and even got worn as a Halloween costume. It fits and feels great, and is much better quality than I expected for the price.

I am amazed. I was expecting some flimsy piece of c__p, but instead received this hefty garment. It has real weight and a luxury feel to it. I would be proud to wear it anywhere. It wasn't all that clear from the picture, but it comes with what appears from the outside to be a fully worn vest, a nice touch. But what most impresses me is the "hand", the feel of the fabric. It is luxurious and full. The size also seems full, not small. I am likely to now order one in red for Christmas. This one is black. I may well wear it where I ordinarily would wear a navy blazer. A happy camper.

Fit is great, quality is much higher than expected for the price. It's fully lined, stitching is really nice. The "vest" part is really just flaps sown on the inside lapel, that fully button up and give the illusion that you are wearing a vest. It's very comfortable and can be worn with just a t-shirt underneath.The down side is that the tailcoat came stuffed in a plastic bag, and the purple velvet seems like it is permanently wrinkled as a result.It's quite obvious to me that the picture for this item, with its razor sharp lines and perfect color uniformity is not a real photo of the item, but rather the designer's sketch of the item.I give it 4 stars because the photo is misleading.

I ordered this as a piece for my husband’s Halloween costume. He’s 6’3” and 210 lbs and the large fit really well! He did have to wear a black undershirt because the front was a little short but that wasn’t a big deal! Overall it was great quality and worked well for our costumes!

I bought this because I wanted to make my own Vergil (DMC3), cosplay outfit. It was the closest and most similar to the real thing. Use with black undershirt. I walked around our town's Renaissance Festival. I did not sweat, it was not hot, and it felt good to look great. Got lots of people calling me "Hey, Vergil!", as I did have the sword and matching boots to go along with this. You don't have to use it for the Vergil outfit, it still looks great if you mix and match. I am happy to have purchased this. I also dressed up for our company Halloween event and ended up winning a costume contest. If you are into these types of clothing, then you will enjoy. I am satisfied with my purchase. Getting the black one next.

I am a big guy, sure, but 2XL fits me, and is sometimes a bit loose. This 2XL feels like a small 1XL. Guess I should have gotten 3XL but who would have known that. :/

I know this jacket is marketed as Steampunk Vampire but I thought, “Lets go crazy!” and bought it for my Prince - Purple Rain costume and it was PERFECT! It fit well and looked great with my frilly white shirt and big, curly, 80s hair! It’s great quality and survived the washing machine to be worn again for another costume party. Maybe I really will dress as a vamp next time???
