Looks a solid, useful product
Looks like a really solid product, though so far I've only used them to strap stuff down in my van rather than on the bike. They certainly worked well there, the loops can be threaded through and looped to things like seat mounts or the van frame without the damage caused by the usual metal hooks found on ratchet straps. The buckles look pretty tough, though I've had ones like these break before now, but I'll certainly be using them on the up-coming bike trip.UPDATE:Used them to hold down 3 weeks luggage for 2 people on my bike trip round the Adriaitic. It was the most weight I've ever carried on a back rack in 45 years of biking and it didn't move at all, even when we fell off at some lights! The most impressive bit was when I had to use them to strap down the bike on the ferry to Albania, after the crew gave me just two pieces of thick string for the job. It was quite a rough crossing and we didn't sleep much for worrying, but the bike didn't move at all...upgraded review to 5 stars now!

Wish I'd got these ages ago
After a bit of faffing to get them tight, these are brilliant. I've got the knack now and 2 will hold all my camping and rally gear securely on the rack of my trike. Quick and easy to use once you know how. Great bit of kit

A wee bit on the expensive side but an excellent product. I read one review that stated they were a bit on the flimsy side, this is nonsense, this is a good quality product in my opinion. When buying these I wasn't sure if they would tighten and hold items on my motorbike as well as bungee cords do but I can happily say they do, they are very simple to put on and tighten to the required tension. There is much less chance of damaging the paintwork to your bike or the items you are carrying compared to a bungee and much simpler to put on and off than a ratchet type system would be. I would highly recommend these to anyone thinking of buying them, you won't regret it. If it were not for the price I would have given 5 stars.James

Using these for two years now - a "must buy"
For 40 years I'd been using bungees to strap a rucksack for my Abus chain and sometimes camping gear to the pillion seat of my bikes. I bought a Honda NC750X in 2017 (20 ltr storage where the petrol tank should be) so no longer need a rucksack every trip but I bought ROK straps for the times I would be carrying a 30 ltr drybag and tent. With bungees I had to work out how to wrap the cord so that it ended up tight at the anchor point but with ROK straps I secure the load it the best way and then take up the slack. With poorly compressed loads (e.g. packing up quickly after a wet night camping), the load can settle/move and the bungees hold it less tight so stop after 30 mins and re-route. ROK straps - tighten and go.Quick release is also good if I don't want to leave my gear on the bike while I'm eating or whatever, I also need this on the NC750X as the pillion seat covers the petrol filler. My ROK straps are kept in the bike just in case. I use an elastic band to keep them rolled up small and tight. I wish I had discovered these years ago.

Established quality product that doesn't disappoint.
Get your hankies ready because this is a sad tale.I was planning to put a large music case on my motorbike so went looking for my trusty Rok Straps.Looked high and low but came to the conclusion that they were thrown out with a load of garage rubbish.Bought these to replace the lost ones. Then found the old ones.Probably the best stechy luggage straps available using loops to attach to frame rails or a rack an a sturdy buckle .Highly recommended.to unite the two halves.
