I have to admit I was pretty sceptical about these ‘miracle bags’, but after nearly 7 hours in a car with 3 full bags, the only casualties that defrosted were 2 packs of tempura prawns!In short, excellent if you want to transport frozen foods

Sadly I had to return these. Did a 'big shop' at the frozen food store and as I was bringing the bags into the house the bottom of one split spilling the contents on the floor. Before you ask - all items in it were bagged not boxed so it wasn't caused by the contents. Having said that - the bags did actually work a treat and keep everything frozen as you'd expect.

Bought these bags to keep food from fridge and freezer cold when I bought a new fridge freezer. Had to leave freezer empty for 4 hours to reach the correct temperature and these bags seemed ideal. Emptied food into bags even double bagging the frozen items and left them in a cool room while I waited the four hours. After less than 3 hours I opened a bag to get some butter out and it was completely melted. I checked the other bags and found warm salad and milk and everything from the freezer partially defrosted after waiting another hour all of my frozen foods, including more than £50 of meat and fish was completely defrosted. In total I had to throw away roughly £90 worth of groceries. These bags were supposed to keep things cold or frozen for up to 6 hours. I didn't overload them, kept them tied up, out of sunlight and away from any heat and they didn't even last half as long as advertised. Do not waste your money on these bags, especially if you need them on a hot day or in warm car journey. Would not recommend to anybody.TLDR. These bags don't work, do not buy!

good for taking frozen food some distance, i did one bag inside another just to make sure the goods stayed frozen, and they did, it was if they had just come out of the freezer, really pleased with the purchase.

I used these for a quick defrost of a freezer about an hour and everything was OK, bags were bigger than expected. Not sure if I would use them for a longer time period

Finally got around to defrosting the freezer. Opened the bags & they just look like really thin plastic bags. I was surprised they had holes in them, considering their purpose, but safety I guess. Gave them a try anyway. Fully loaded 2 of these bags, as instructed, & closed them over (no fastenings) by tying & tucking inward. Didn’t take notice to the time i started, but it was under 2 hours.Mixed results. Ice cream & bread were both defrosted. Ice cream was temperature of cream not long out of the fridge, so panicked a freezer full of stuff was ruined.I had put ice in, but only because it was in the freezer & I thought it would be a good indicator of how frozen things kept. The ice was oddly fine, little loose in the ice trays. Veg seemed to be in similar state as the ice. The meat seemed to be still frozen.Fingers crossed that I won’t get sick from putting everything back in the freezer.Don’t really recommend them, but if you do buy them try double or triple bagging them.
