Easy to apply, works well
Certainly, it works well as a sunscreen. But the main thing I like is that it is so easy to apply. Maybe this has something to do with the viscosity? I'm not exactly sure how to describe this feature. I've been using the product for a couple of years at different places around the world and have had great success.

Lightweight, effective SPF
I bought this SPF after doing lots of research on SPF products that are paraben, oil and sulfate free, good for oily, acne prone and sensitive skin and lightweight, and I came across this. This product ticks all of the requirements for me! I've been using this for a couple of months now and have had no problems with it. It's quite pricey for the size of the bottle, however the consistency is very thin, and so a little goes a long way. Unlike other SPF products, this doesn't leave the dreaded white cast after applying, though it does need to be rubbed into the skin well. My (very) sun sensitive skin has yet to burn with using this product. I would highly, highly recommend this product to anyone, regardless of your skin type. The only downside that I've found from this personally is that after applying it on to my skin, it feels slightly tacky and my skin looks oily, but it does tend to look and feel drier after 20 or so minutes of applying. However, I do have very oily skin and apply a generous amount of product.

Pleasant milky texture, dry(ish) finish, excellent protection
I've deleted my original review of this which was far too negative. When I first tried this in March it was unusually cold weather and and my skin was dryer than normal. As a result it didn't sit well on me at all. Maybe I was also using moisturiser or a serum, I can't remember. Mainly, it seemed not to absorb at all and looked very white on me. I would describe my skin tone as warm/dark blond.I've been using for a few days, quite happily, now as the weather is ridiculously hot for April (hottest in 70 years) and while there is very obvious whitening on application (if you apply an appropriate amount not just stroke a bit on) it fades slowly, maybe in 15 minutes to a slight white cast - that's why it loses one star. The texture is a kind of ultra-light milk and the finish is a dryer look than most (no shine), but still feels/looks slightly moist. I'm liking it. I've been out on my allotment in strong sun for a few hours at a time, no burning at all and my skin feels in very nice condition after washing it off.It is not as cosmetically elegant as La Roche Posay ultra-fluide, however the alcohol in that dries my skin out after a couple of days' use so I can't use it regularly.I've used Bioderma SPF50+ on my neck, hands, forearms for years and I think it leaves them in really good condition so I'm pleased I've now found one in the range I can use on my face.

Excellent protection for dark skin too leaving no white cast
I’ve been using the La Roche Posay range of face sun cream for a long time and wanted a change since my T-Zone tends to get oilier in the summer so I did a bit of research and decided to try this Biodherma sun cream and bingo! It’s much better than other brands I’ve tried even the pricier ones such as Clinique and Supergoop: no shine, no white cast (my skin is medium/dark) and also works great under make up! It’s fragrance free so doesn’t sting around the eyes. I’m really happy with this sun cream for the face and truly recommend it.

Lovely product!
This is the first sunscreen ever that does not feel like sunscreen on my sensitive skin. Having wasted more money than I care to mention on "sensitive skin" sunscreens, sunscreens for babies and the like that would invariably irritate my skin or - at best - make me feel like there was something unpleasant on my skin that I couldn't wait to wash off, I was slightly apprehensive about this one. After the first application I kept waiting for something to happen - a slight burning sensation, redness...and there was nothing. It feels lovely on, just like a light moisturiser, or like nothing at all. I might finally be able to to wear sun protection!

Wrong product sent
Three times the wrong product was sent. I ordered the invisible SPF50+, (which I usually have and is great), however each time the tinted SPF50+ sent instead. Very disappointed.

don't understand the hype sadly
i really wanted to like this sun cream! however, i have dry skin and even i found this so greasy on my face. i break out usually whenever i wear this, although i know everyone's skin is different and i have acne prone skin.i have 3 different bioderma sun creams, and find this one the worst of them. this review might seem harsh as it's not that different from most other european sun-creams, which are usually quite greasy. however, the high reviews at the time made it out that this would be a good sun cream for my skin and that's not the case at all. just something to keep in mind if you have similar skin to mine. i've heard good things about "NIVEA Sun UV Face Soothing Sensitive Sun Cream" for people with similar skin to mine, which i've bought but haven't tried yet.sadly, this sun-cream was not as good as i'd hoped, but i really wanted to like it! i prefer the bioderma cicabio mixed with bioderma photoderm spot. however, they're still a bit too greasy for my liking, and hard to apply. if i put on my moisturiser before i apply the suncream, it makes it a lot easier though, and is what i'm using currently :)(note: be aware, that this method does not guarantee complete protection, as the sun cream may be more diluted)

Great for sensitive skin
I have struggled to find a sun cream which doesn't bring me out in spots. I have sensitive skin with rosacea and have spent a fortune truing to find something that suits my skin. My search is finally over!
