Does the job
I'm not a professional I just needed a Makita charger. I don't care how long it takes as long as it gets the job done. From a dead battery it will take around an hour and a half. For the price ,£17, you can't go wrong.

Great charger for non OEM batteries 👍🏻
I deliberately wanted a slower charger for non ORM batteries as Makita fast chargers ruin non genuine Makita batteries - learned from bitter experience! Yes this charger will take longer but it’s a price I’m will to pay and at £17 it’s a no brainer!!

Does the job
Charges Makita batteries satisfactorily but the one I bought does not make any warning noises so I have to rely on the lights.

Works well with aftermarket non-OEM batteries
Be aware that this is only the standard paced charger, as I’d read some information that suggested the aftermarket non-OEM batteries didn’t like fast charge cycles, so to be on the safe side I bought the standard speed charger which didn’t cost a lot of money. Clearly it takes a lot longer to charge batteries but at least I know but they’re not gonna be overcooked during the cycle. Seem to have charged a battery well which lasted for the expected amount of time. For this price you can’t grumble to get a genuine Makita OEM charger.
