Bison BATTERY BOX CARRIER WITH USB CHARGER, LED METER, BREAKER & 12V SOCKET

Strong case with secure strap to keep it closed. Easy of connection of battery internally and of device (electric outboard motor) externally. Kept water from boat away from battery. Side carry handles useful and essential as box is heavy with a battery inside. Plenty of room inside for my leisure battery.

A great product, well made & sturdy & the electrical components used are of a good standard. I also bought the Numax 110 ah battery to go with it but it's slightly too tall. The problem is easily fixed by removing the inner shelf from inside the Bison box top & drill two holes through the shelf slightly larger than the + & - battery terminals then you can refit the shelf. I've also fitted a Drok 12v digital multimeter in place of the standard battery indicator - More functions/info & it looks prettier, costs £!5 from Amazon.If i was head of creativity at Bison i would build a box with a 500 + watt pure sine wave inverter fitted & maybe bigger boxes to take 1-2 batteries or a large single high amp hour battery.

Only received it the afternoon, looks good, should be easy enough to upgrade bits myself. Picture of the inside attached, for those who are also considering customization.Easily contained 12v 85Ah battery, but you will need terminal clamps suitable for the terminal size on your battery.Looks quite sturdy and looks like it would protect from a very small spray of rain, but would not trust it with even light rain. But a lot better than nothing and looks to be a very useful tool for making a lead acid battery more user friendly.

Great battery box well worth the money

This doesn't come with battery clamps. Depending on your terminals on your battery you may need to spend £5 buying the right sort as indeed I did. Not a problem as I was expecting to do so. Fabulous item. Holds a big old leisure battery nicely.

Love this product, was going to build one myself following you tube. However with all the parts and equipment needed, wouldnt of saved much. But not disapointed at all, great product so far. Had to wait untell my leisure battert arrived. But when it did and slapped it in and boom, back up power in the go. Got it for my caravan and tent, so when we get non electric hook up we still can charge phones watch portable tvs etc. This will also work with solar power, meaning the battery is stored safely whilst charging. Also buy a DC converter from amazon, allowing you to plug in household items. Also was worried the weight of a leisure battery the box wouldnt handle it, that the handle wouldnt support the weight. But i was wrong, held the weight of the battery with no problems.

Sturdy, simple to set up and keep your battery safe, secure and ready to use. Installed this with a split charge so I can top the battery up as I drive. Very easy to do with the two external terminals. I Can then either keep the box in the van as a power source for charging phones, cool box or fan when parked up. Or quickly disconnect and take as a portable power supply on jobs. So good I'm going to buy a second!

I'm happy with this battery box generally - it's a good design, quite well made although a little flimsy when dealing with a 17Kg marine battery - but the thing that's really irked me is that the description does not mention that you will need battery terminal clips if using a car or marine battery. These have to be bought separately (<£10). This could easily be made clear in the description, or even included at this price.The other thing that gives me cause for concern is the way in which the box is closed using a strap, rather than clips inside the lid. I suppose this is a consequence of the lightweight plastic used (it is very light). It works, however, although seems a bit odd.Seller is excellent though. Item arrived next day and they responded to my queries almost instantly.
