Best Tool For The Job
I'm not sure what people have been experiencing with units not working over a short period of time. They must be using it for a purpose it was not made for?? This is the second unit in our full time metal shop and they are perfect for the job! Soft start and a high RPM (11000) makes cutting an ease with no slow down when grinding steel. Perfect weight and well made unit, cannot recommend enough!

Dewalt Grinder
Very good and sturdy product as Dewalt is a superb brand speaks itself very easy in use one minor issue Dewalt should provide spanner to open the disc nut.

Here we go
Ok to address the button.....(as per other reviews) - Its a funny little b*gger. Not the best of designs. I did actually find I couldn't turn it off, until that is I realised I was doing it wrong. The button appears to have a sliding action to it......... IT DOESNT!!! once you get past that and realise that you just need to press it.. you're golden. I can however imaging high dust uses could cause an issue, but even that should be easily cleared with either a duster can (spray air) or compressed air line. All my kit is DeWalt, and this is by comparison to the cordless grinders, quite heavy, so prolonged use can be a a pain in the arm. Itd good to have a bit of reliable, non-drainable power to hand tho... it's DeWalt, it does the job.

Cuts well but not very deep
I bought this for cutting through some bricks and thought this would do as I can cut from both sides. In terms of actual cutting this worked great, nice and easy to cut with the right blades (not included).Cons:The locking ring door the blade reduces how deep you can cut so it's good for small jobs, but only arrived 2-3cm deep. The grinder is a bit tricky to turn off with gloves onOverall if you have small jobs to do I would recommend this. Small and light weight and cuts very easily.

BEST GRINDERS FOR RAKING MORTAR
The yellow make is a bit of a swear word for me but had these grinders before, simply the best for long term grinding ( hours on end raking out mortar ) seem to hold up really well and can get fresh brushes for them if they pack up, still using one I bought 12 years ago. Would highly recommend even though everything else I run is from the red opposition

Heavy duty angle grinder
I used my grinder to quickly remove all the mortar from between my garden wall bricks. Remember to use goggles. It proved to be very simple to attach grinding disks to it

Noisy and heavy
As modern angle grinders go this is fairly heavy with a very loud motor gearbox, ear defenders essential even before you've started grinding. Quick and easy to rotate guard position. Functionally fine overall..
