Door locks for the 2012 Eclipse. Not an easy job
Let me start off with this...these didn't have the flat on the shaft like the ones in the locks did but for me no problem as I have a disc cutter and made quick work of that. I also had to shorten the shafts a bit. But after I ground the flats in each shaft they slid right in to the nylon worm gear and went right back into the black plastic assembly that I had to pry open with a chisel and screwdriver very very carefully with. You can do it it just takes about an hour on the driver's door and after the learning curve, about 25 minutes on the passenger door. Be sure to pull the yoke tab on driver door key lock and pull the extension that goes into the mechanism instead of fighting it . You'll see what I mean once you're into it. I'm sure these little motors have lots of other applications but for mine they worked just fine. Seems like the more the challenge, the more I rise to meet it. I almost always win the battle. These are not flatshaft and are not worth the money
Not as described. I ordered the 20mm flat shaft motors and paid more for them because they were supposed to be flat shaft. The motors I received are not flat shaft. I will now need to modify them to work because my customer needs their car back. I paid the same amountbfor these 2 motors as what i would have paid for 4 of the exact same motors because these are supposed to be flat shaft. Not happy at all.

Does Not Fit 2011 Prius not D shaped shaft

05 Subaru Outback door lock motor
Length was correct, had to grind down one side flat. Used calipers to get the thickness right. The polarity was wrong - it would unlock the drivers door while locking all the others. Just cut and swap the two wires going to the motor and all works as it should. Saved me a decent amount of monies and have an extra one if another fails.All this was based on the suggestions from the subaru outback forums.

As of 2/24/2018, the description of this product is incorrect. This product DOES NOT have a D flat shaft. The shaft is round. Look closely at the shaft in the product photo. NO D FLAT SHAFT. I hope Amazon correct the description soon for other not to order the wrong product.
