Good protection
I am not a professional reviewer but I am very happy with the quality and protection that the Howard Leight Impact Pro offers.I own the Howard Leight Impact Sportt version but the protection is 25 SNR and can be on the loud side for some people. However, the Howard Leight Impact Pro is doing a very good job with protecting my hearing. Also the sound amplification on speech is great too. I recommend the Howard Leight Impact Pro for both indoor and outdoor shooting range.

Too bulky for shooting
Bought these to wear when shooting but they’re too bulky. However, when not shooting they are perfect for spectating near the guns. They cut out the damaging noise but (by magic!) you can hear conversations. Recommended.

Very decent hearing protection
Quite good. The price-performance ratio retrospectively is not as good as I expected, but still provides good noise dampening. They could feel a bit heavy after a while, but the cushioning is high quality and is comfortable on ears even for longer wear. The sound quality is alright, actually better than what I expected and battery life seems good.

Great shooting ear protection
These as as good and i some cases even better than the 3x more expensive brands. The only thing you should be aware of is that they are big. Im using them for competition shooting with handguns so its no problem for me but when shooting a rifle it can be annoying with big size :)

Howard Leighton Impact ear muffs.
Great set of ear muffs very comfortable to wear noise cancelling excellent and being able to listen to music or audio books while blocking out external noise is great.

Top notch.
Very, very good. I'm not sure I'd want to wear them all day, but the sound deadening and noise filter are amazing.

Excellent quality ear defenders
Excellent quality ear defenders, work very well on the shooting range and a step up from the standard honeywell impact ear protectors.

Not amazing at cutting out high noise, and poor aux input.
They're big. But comfortable. Value for money is ok - but only at £50 - no more. Especially when you consider double the price for your average shooting ear defenders about. But it shows in the electronic cancellation part. Can be slow to react to high lever sounds and cut them out, or not cut them out at all. I've used the likes of 3M ear defenders and they are really good. But these have higher noise reduction pads as standard, even without the electronic noise cut out circuitry. But you get what you pay for. My first pair wouldn't cut out high sounds really at all, had to replace them. Second pair better, but still not great. Using the aux input for music us useless. The amplification is no where near powerful enough to listen to music on it. It's shockingly low volume even with no ambient noise going through the mic. So any background noise at all, drowns out the music.
