Bought this for my nephew who has just started playing chess and he took on holiday ! It was a hit! Lightweight for travelling bd being magnetic a bonus

My son wanted his first chess set and this is a great first buy. It's well made, not too small, keeps the pieces safe and tidy when not in use and great for taking on holiday. He loves it.

My fault for not reading the dimensions properly but it was bigger than I expected and actually quite heavy for a travel set. The magnets are very strong and you can turn the board completely upside down without the pieces coming off which my young son thought was hilarious as he could play chess on the ceiling if he wanted to! This means any accidental knocks would not send the pieces flying in all directions so in that respect it is perfect for travel or for younger players. Quality is pretty good but there are a couple of sharp edges to a few pieces but nothing too bad. Pieces fit in the supplied bag and fold within the board for easy storage and travel. All in all a decent set.

This board was great for friends and family to play when traveling, it's got a great compact design and it's easy to clean up.

A good product that is fit for purpose. The pieces are large enough so as not to be difficult to hold or fiddly. As they are magnetic, the pieces remain in place if the board is knocked or the journey is not smooth. The product was well packaged and arrived on time.

Absolute great product however the only downside is if you want to go on a plane your bags will have to be searched a bit heavily because it comes out weird in the scanner. Other than that I found it a great size and fits pretty easy in my bag to bring to school every day and thrash my friends.

Good clicking box with a solid close. Wish there were two bags for each colour but so far its good. Used a few weeks on trips.
