I suck
Aluminum is a pain. Tring to weld with substandard tools. This had the best ratings. I am not good enough to tell you about it. But I trust seller and company and that's sometimes all the help we need

Learning how to braze aluminum
This was purchased as an experiment to see if I could improve the 'wetting' of my aluminum brazing rod. I had mixed results bonding aluminum to aluminum with that generic aluminum brazing rod (reviewed elsewhere) and so I thought I'd try this flux. It works best when mixed with water and applied as a paste per the instructions; the flame of the torch just blows away the white powder. Once I could apply this flux to the work area, I could not tell any difference in the quality of my brazing joints. I will not fault the flux, as my experience, working temperature, and working material were all variables in my results. It was a good experiment but didn't improve my work. YMMV.

Not as advertised
Unless The office of weights and measurements downgraded a pound, pretty sure 2oz isn't a 1/4lbThis roll is tiny.

This stuff really works.
This product actually worked in repairing a hole rubbed into an aluminum oil cooler. Once the base was hot enough the solder flowed well and made a smooth repair.

Works perfect, Good value and quality
The media could not be loaded. This ER4047 Aluminum silicon brazing alloy rods set from BLUEFIRE is a good quality, thick and well made rods, usually you get the rods very thin. the set has 32 rods, they are not the ones with the flux inside the core you have to dip them in flux to get good bond. these are low recapture rods.as you can see in the video I got a really nice results using just a regular torch, very recommended product and cost affective.
