It certainly makes cutting my courgettes easier
This is basically a handy sharp penknife with a curved blade. I bought it in preparation for my courgette harvest and it works just fine for that, slicing neatly through the joint between stem and fruit, and being small enough - just about - to get into the restricted space around the leaf joints. So far I can't say how long it will stay sharp for, but it's pretty sharp right now. Certainly sharp enough to make me very careful how I retract the blade, even with gardening gloves on. As it looks to be high-quality steel I expect to be able to carefully sharpen it in due course with a tool I use for chisels, router bits, circular saw blades and the like. All in all, it's not an essential tool, but I no longer get complaints that "my handy little vegetable knife has gone missing again" so it's worth the expense for domestic harmony. And of course, it's a pleasure to use good tools.

Wickedly sharp and perfect for grafting apple rootstock.
I got this because we have two apple trees in our garden which produce apples so good that my work colleagues actually fight over the bags of windfalls! Unfortunately, the trees are nearly 100 years old, and we have no idea what varieties they are. They are both healthy and producing loads of fruit, but just in case something happened to them, I decided to take cuttings from them and graft them onto new rootstocks.Even though I only had 8 rootstocks to graft, I decided to do the job properly and buy a Victorinox knife. Yes, for those unsure, Felco is the gardening brand of Victorinox, and the blade is stamped with the Victorinox name.I'm so glad I bought the 'real thing'. The cuts it made were perfect every time, even though I'm a complete novice at grafting.Warning. This knife is incredibly sharp. So sharp you will not even notice you have cut yourself. Wear gloves! It's also 'handed', because it's only beveled on one side. You CANNOT use it in your left hand, which is a bit awkward as I'm left handed. Fortunately, we lefties are used to living with this sort of prejudice, and can adapt. It kept its edge through a great many practice cuts, and is still razor sharp after grafting all eight trees. Literally - I can shave the hairs off my arm with it!If I had to criticise, I'd ask why there wasn't a loop for a lanyard. I know I'm going to lose this sooner or later, and my old Victorinox penknife does have a lanyard attachment.Don't waste money on cheap, nasty knives. This is the correct tool for the job and worth every penny. It's not even very expensive.

Be careful - very sharp
This blade is VERY sharp just as it should be but be careful and keep the plasters handy. Another quality Felco product in my collection of garden tools and one which I find really useful, in particular for taking cuttings for grafting as it gives a clean cut. Would recommend but just be careful.

Versatile but no locking
Felco are a very reliable brand and this grafting knife has so much more use in the garden other than grafting. In fact, in recent years this has been the knife I carry around with me when gardening. It’s a firm opening and closing but this doesn’t detract from the fact that there is no locking system on the knife. It’s very sharp too, so for the clumsier gardener, this presents are large issue. So if you’re good with your knives and are careful then this is great. If you are clumsy then look elsewhere, such as the brand Opel.

Very sharp and well built
The knife is very well made and with a sharp blade. It is ideal for many uses other then pruning; such as striping cables, cutting up cardboard, etc. It has a good handle which doesn't slip out your hands when greasy or wet.

Nice Knife
Bought to replace a well known make of knife that was so disappointing. This one is very sharp, nice to use and a good price.

Razor sharp
I wish I'd bought a proper sharp gardening knife long ago. Thus one looks good and cuts beautifully. I haven't had it long so can't comment on how long it stays sharp.
