These are brilliant tart tins with removeable bases for making sweet or savory tarts.They arrived promptly and well packaged, and performed exceptionally well when baking with them. The pastry did not stick to them and slid completely free once the tarts were baked even without adding a non-stick coating etc.The removeable bases make it even easier to use these. I did not find the edges too sharp but I would be careful when washing them just in case.The tart tins are about 2cm deep so plenty of room for adding filling etc.The price is far better than anywhere else and they are a good quality tin which will last a long time if cared for properly.I am going to buy another pack while they are at such a good price.Recommended.

When I first received the tins they rusted after the first use. I treated them with care and was quite disappointed when I realized they were KitchenCraft, a brand that is normally known for high quality products which is why I chose these over others in the first place. Sent an e-mail to KitchenCraft asking about the issue and had them replaced no questions asked.The replacement tins are of amazingly high quality. Sturdy and non-stick.KitchenCraft is hands down my favorite brand for home cooking and baking tools. It's a great British company that sells innovative products of the highest quality at incredibly low prices and their customer service is second to none.

These Tart Tins were just what I was looking for. They are just the job for individual pies and tarts and have the 'push up' base plate which helps to keep your tart in one piece!The only drawback I have found is once they have been washed, dry them asap otherwise they will start to get 'rust spots. (you can use your cooling oven to dry them)One last thing - the top edge of the tins are quite sharp so be careful as they will cut you if you are not careful.

I was doubtful about these when I read some of the reviews about them causing cuts etc., but when I got them, I see that the manufacturer has folded all the edges over very neatly and so they are not sharp. I will dry them thoroughly before putting them away so perhaps they won't rust. They are just the right size for individual flans. well made and good value. I bought 2 sets. I intend to buy a lot more so I can make loads of individual flans for the freezer. Good value for money. They are wonderful. Just what I was looking for. I had some little pyrex ones, but, as my grip is not good due to arthritis, I have dropped and broken some. These ones will be safer.

I was delighted to find these here on amazon because they are surprising difficult to get hold of in the shops. If you like your finished dishes to look pretty then loose base tins are a must and I get a neat and professional looking finish with these every time using just some low calorie cooking spray to line them. They are also easy to clean and store. The only bad thing I can say about them is that the edges of the bases are very sharp so care is needed, but i'm sure with use they will become more blunt. Great value for a pack of 6 so I would definitely recommend them to any keen cook or baker!

I returned these as despite washing them as directed, they retained a metallic smell, which I’m sure would have tainted the food. After the second wash I left them to air dry, hoping the smell would disappear, only to find they had developed rust during the day. Kitchen craft were very helpful, and returning then was easy. It’s the first time I’ve had any issue with Kitchecraft products.

These tins could be great however the metal rusted on first contact with water, washed by hand before use as recommended on the packaging but after first use I put them in the dishwasher. The pastry comes out easily due to loose bottom and it cooked well. However I wouldn’t buy them again because I expected better quality for the money.

Overall happy with the product for the price compared with others on here. It is a little weaker than more expensive products, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. But it is more than adequate and should last for years to come.
