Rentokil RKLFA105 Ant Killer Gel (Twin Pack)

Our kitchen was overrun with ants and powder just wasn't doing anything, we put a couple of these in the kitchen, around the house and outside the back door, initially I thought they were just as bad as the powder, however after a few weeks we have had no more ants so I would say that these are a resounding success.They are also much cleaner I think that putting powder down and more discreet outside. Simple and effective and well worth spending the money on these.

Absolutely useless! The do not work! I ordered 4 boxes of these Ant stations because Ants keep invading our kitchen. I thought being a Rentokil product, that they should work. They are a complete waste of money!. The Ants are coming from under our kitchen floor. They just just walk past the Ant Stations.. They are not nterested at all!

Recent ant bait research (New Scientist Magazine) indicates that ants are very cleaver. They leave Pheromone traits to indicate to other ants not to enter the bait traps. A way around this is to clean the area around the trap with cleaning cloths, such as Dettol strong cloths, to eradicate the pheromones.

Easy to use and it works so easily no fuss

Used this product a number of times over the years, invariably with great results. Doesn't seem to be at all effective this time. Not sure if something has been changed in the product?

It seemed to work by placing near to outside nest.

We were getting 20 to 30 ants every morning. We tried everything, scrubbed the floors, put ant powder where we could (kids and dogs so have to be careful) tried the baby powder trick but nothing worked. Put these down and ive not seen an ant in my house since. Very happy.You do need to push quite hard on the top to pop it and I squidged it a few times just to make sure but im very impressed.

I have ordered this twice and both times it has been sent in an envelope packaging. When opening the manufacture packed the trap has been activated and had poison on my fingers as a result. Being asthmatic this has triggered asthma attacks, the 2nd time leaving me with pleurisy, the 1st with a trop to A&E. This is a poison that can damage your health. All poisonous pesticides need to be treated with extreme care and avoid it coming into contact with vinegar. I was supposed to give to theRoyal Mail to get my refund, I was reluctant so lost money as A&E warned me this can permanently scar lungs like all pesticides.The ones that arrived non smashed open worked very well. Just the odd stray ant found out about vacuum cleaners and deposited in garden. Please be careful.
