Wish I’d done this years ago - excellent product.
Our conservatory is over 20 years old and the original door gasket seals had perished. They were brittle and hard, so sitting near the door in the winter meant you could feel a definite draught. Over the years I had tried to fix the problem with those stick on strips you can buy from DIY stores but they looked messy and were never man enough for the job. I had a glazing firm in who said that the original ones were no longer made - usual story - so I thought I take a chance and order online. I did some research and because they were in a state, I measured a bit of the old gasket as accurately as I could. This universal seal is perfect! So easy to fit, I was getting suspicious! The arrow head part just popped into the groove with a little bit of pressure, I got away without needed washing up liquid, but a great tip. As others have mentioned, there does seem to be a little bit of lubricant on already which definitely helped. I found that it pays to be a bit careful to keep checking that when you are pushing the seal in, to go back and check that where you first started hasn’t slid along, especially before you cut of the excess at the end. If it has moved, it’s easy just to push it back into place with a bit of thumb pressure. The worst part of the whole job was pulling and digging out the original seal from the grooves, especially at the base. I’m so pleased with the final result. As well as being more efficient, the door looks clean and brand new - better than it has for years. I don’t know why I didn’t do this ages ago.

Works for me!!
Bought this after reading reviews. Fits my standard upvc door. Was a little concerned when parts kept popping out but that could've been me as after more pressure it's all in one place and appears to have stayed. Cant complain with the amount you get for the price. 20m! Have plenty to replace most of the windows if needed

Easy to fit with no tools
Ordered yesterday, arrived today. Hardest bit was getting the old gasket out as it was so brittle. Used a very small flat head screwdriver in the groove to get all the old bits out then hoovered it, gave it a brush out with an old toothbrush and one more hoover to make sure there was no dust left. I didn't want to get it wet with any cleaning solutions to make it easier to fit the new gasket. The gasket comes neatly wound in a plastic tub with an airtight lid, pre-lubricated. I started at the top of the frame in the middle of the door and worked it all the way around back to the top without having to cut it once. It's flexible enough to go around the corners of the frame. I found that pushing the gasket into the groove and then wiggling my finger with pressure cross-ways against the direction of the gasket stopped me stretching it and ensured that the arrow-head shape on the gasket was tucked properly in on both sides. I turned the tub on the floor every so often to stop the gasket being twisted - this way I only needed to get out of the tub as much gasket as I needed to follow it around the frame. It was done in 10 minutes and looks like new now with a really good fit against the door. Very pleased with result.

not universal
Just a heads up to anyone considering buying this product : I do think it's good value and well packaged and well made BUT I tried to fit this to my upvc windows and it kept popping back out . when i contacted stormgaurd they said "The B338 Bubble Seal is only designed to fit the 96mm Steel Door Threshold or the 128mm Industrial Door Threshold, if either of these are the product you are using it should fit. If you are using it in another product it may not be the correct fit. " SO its designed to fit one of only TWO profiles .... not universal. amazon returned

Good quality
Good quality and easy to install. Use a little soapy water to aid with install. With this I was able to replace the seals on one side of my Upvc door frame and also do 2 seals on a 4 x 4 meter window frame (6meters) and one seal on another 4 x 4 meter window frame (12 meters in total). Just enough left over for our small bathroom window (2 meters). Will happily buy another one for the rest.

Easy to fit quality seal
I bought this seal for my windows in the living room as there seemed little point in replacing a perfectly good window for the cost of a seal. I did struggle to get the old seal out in a couple of places because the sun had damaged it but this is a DIY job that requires a little patience. The rubber seal comes contained within it's own tub, do not be tempted to take out more than you require as it does have a habit of twisting itself around. The seal has some lubricant on it which makes it very easy to slide into the frame and cuts to size with a pair of scissors. Once you have identified the shape of your seal, ensure you measure it accurately as there are many different sizes out there and a few mm make a huge difference in getting a proper seal. Save yourself a fortune and have a go, I am no window expert. Highly recommended.

Perfect for eliminating draughts
Does what it's supposed to. The seal fitted perfectly into our UPVC kitchen door, providing a snug seal, and helping to eliminate an annoying draught. How long will it last? Who knows, but it can't be much less than the original seal that had perished and was falling to pieces.
