Great option to safely cover outdoor cables for xmas lights, definitely up to the job!

We have this now in 3 lengths for use at Open Mic Nights and other gigs. Reduces the issues with leads tripping people as they go on and off the stage significantly, as well as looking way more professional. I have dealing with gaffer tape sticking to leads and the thought of constantly throwing away resources.It has 3 channels you can open up, each taking 2 cables easily. Brilliant stuff.

I don’t recommend buying this as a portable protector. It’s too stiff, heavy and impractical. Also you have to use a knife to slice the bottom open to feed the cable through. That’s not clear prior to purchase.I am sure it’s great as a permanent fix for cables that don’t move. As a workshop facilitator and trainer, I need something that’s light, flexible and stays flat immediately when you put it down on the floor. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t meet those needs.

Product is thick and heavy duty. As other people have mentioned, it doesn't come pre-cut so you have to do this yourself, but it's easy to do with a Stanley knife. The main problem is that the product comes rolled up and it is difficult to get it to lay perfectly flat, thereby creating a trip hazard that it is supposed to prevent. I have tried warming it up and rolling it the reverse way which seems to have partially resolved it, but I'll have to see if it straightens/flattens out over time.

The description shows it with cables inside, but this is impossible unless you take the plugs off. It seems you have to slit the whole length of the cover to insert a cable. The description should explain this.
