It works very well, impressive build quality and ease of use.

Was quite surprised and impressed with how weighty, tight fitting, and well designed it is. As it's 58.5mm in diameter here's hardly any wiggle but it doesn't get caught on the sides either. The leveler slides up as you place the tamper down to ensure it stays level under its own weight, even before pressing down and the spring loaded flat tamp surface is quite comfortable and easy to press down while it being level. This, combined with their leveler, which is also very well designed, will certainly help keep those 2 factors in your puck prep and resulting shot consistent. It further has the benefit, due to its design, of not gathering any grinds on the ledge as it often happens in other simpler calibrated tampers and leads to needing to press down whipe trying to get something in there to clean it. All this to say that it looks, feels, and works very nicely.

Works great with my Breville Bambino. Love the little rings it makes. I don't know if that does anything but it's cool.

I bought this tamper as i wanted to start my Sage Barista Pro upgrades. And my “in the Box tamper” was starting to look a little rough on the edges.I received the parcel this morning Jan. 3’rd 2024.And I couldn’t get my hands on it quickly enough.First impression: wow. Heavy & good grip. No slinky parts and sturdy on the portafilter.The tamping motion is also a very nice feel. Straight down no fuzz. And completely level!Would recommend it to anyone for sure.

This has become my "go to" tamper for consistent tamps. A check on my (bathroom) scale found that when the internal spring was at its fully depressed point (when the tamper has reached the end of its travel and additional pressure results in no further compression of the tamper), ~23lb of pressure would be applied to the puck, exactly as specified -- yes, not properly scientific, but you have to use what's available...Besides the precise pressure being applied, the ergonomics of this tamper design (which allows one to apply pressure using one's palm) makes it very easy to avoid tamping at an angle other than straight down on the puck.Lastly, just be aware that, as would be the case with ANY tamper, anything other than a straight walled filter basket could cause some of this consistent pressure to be applied directly to the filter basket instead of the puck (I'm thinking of you, Breville OEM baskets!), particularly if significantly under filling.
