Good product. Pretty HD.
I bought this for an idea I had for night fishing. This is designed to hold a regular flashlight, but what if I put an LED Black Light, flashlight on it??? Well, it's a game changer. Got me a affordable blk light, and this adjustable helmet strap. I wear fitted baseball caps, and this strap worked great. It's adjustable with both size of head, and the diameter of flashlight. This ones holds up to about an inch diameter flashlight. The holder for the light, is screw tightened, with claws that wrap around the flashlight. It is designed for hard hats, but works with my baseball cap. I would recommend it, especially if your a fisherman looking for a slick holder for a blk light led flashlight, to make your stuff glow, while fishing!

Clamp is excellent
The clamp on this is awesome. It holds my Nightcore HC33 light perfectly and securely. It’s exactly what I needed. The headband it comes with is rubber, which would be great for a hard hat or similar, but not so much for using it directly on your head LOL. Naturally it grabs your hair and isn’t comfortable. I swapped the banned out for another, elastic one, which works better for me. If you need it for a hard hat, the band it comes with will work well.

This is a million times better than the rubber band style holders
Haven’t had the chance to try it on my hard hat but as a headband flash light holder it’s awesome. It works with my wurkkos fd15 and fc11 wonderfully

Versatile flashlight mount.
I really like this Fenix headband. So much that I bought a second one to keep in my vehicle. The beauty of these is that they can fit a wide variety of different, regular flashlights. I don't typically use a head mounted flashlight, but with one of these close by, I can take whichever edc flashlight that I happen to have on me that day, and if need be, I can use a traditional, straight flashlight as a head lamp light if I need to.The rubber headband is durable and of good Fenix quality. The adjustable mount has good quality threads and thumbscrew. If you just have an occasional use case for a headlamp, this mount will allow you to use your regular flashlight as a headlamp. Really no need to invest in a separate right angle headlamp unless you are going to be jogging or using a headlamp for regular, extended time periods.

you want to wear on a hat, hardhat preferred
Works as intended and price is reasonable, but you might find it uncomfortable without added padding the surface. It is made primarily for use with a hardhat being that the side facing the head/helmet is curved. But, not all of us want to use only with a hardhat so some impromptu padding will do the trick. Also note that the extra battery carry box will only hold AA & AAA, not the 123A batteries.

works great with Fenix E35 flashlight.
the Fenix E35 (v.2) is a bit heavy for this strap (no fault of the strap) but it works fine and the E35 isn't a really small light either. You can position the strap in "reverse" since it has no "polarity" regarding positioning. it looks the same if the light holder is on the left side of your head or you flip the strap upside down so that the holder is on the right side -- it looks the same as far as the strap itself. easy to adjust but it's RUBBER so don't expect this to be a fashion statement. it UTILITARIAN and it shows it BUT it does work.
