Don't cut clingfilm very well ,better to use scissors otherwise OK.

just received my holder today, disappointed at first as it only takes 300mm rolls, but with my trusty Dremel I have cut away a small part of web at each end and it now takes 350mm cling film, fixing to the wall is a doddle and it cuts film and foil perfectly. if I lifted the cutters a ridiculous amount I COULD have broken them off, there is NO other way this could be done. YES it is made of thin plastic, but it is not meant to be used as a HAMMER and it is NOT flimsy if used for its purpose.

The quality of the product for the price is fine and its sturdy enough to be attached properly. The drawnack is that the average length of foil and cling film rolls sold in UK super markets are about 1.5 inches too long and dont fit into the rack. I checked 3 different supermarkets and the shortest rolls are all too long. I imagine this was designed in a country/region where the rolls are slightly shorter.

The only reason I gave this one star was that I can't award zero on this system.At first glance this looks stylish and useful. Further examination reveals cheap, flimsy plastic and a virtually useless cutter design. I mounted mine on the kitchen wall, fitted the three rolls as per instructions, then tried to cut the cling film and foil. The film cutter clumsily tore raggedly though the film, leaving a terrible mess, but at least it stayed on. The foil cutter did a slightly better cuting job, but fell off on the second cut! I put it back on, and it fell off before I could reuse it. At this point I removed it from the wall, replaced it in the packaging, and logged in to Amazon to initiate the returns (REFUND) procedure.This is not worth anything like £[]. I'll read all reviews in future to avoid such a horrible mistake recurring.

I kept this because it's a useful way of storing foil, clingfilm, and paper towel rolls, but it really doesn't deliver what it promises. The quality is cheap and brittle, and the 'cutters' are almost completely useless; they drag across and only actually cut intermittently, so you end up having to chop and tear at the rolls anyway. For the price, I don't know why nobody can manufacture a genuinely smart and efficient version which does what it's supposed to do, but I haven't found one yet and this certainly isn't it!

It's a really useful space saver, easy to fit, and holds plastic film and aluminium foil, with a kitchen roll easily, and the to makes a really handy place to store some spice jars. it's really good value for the money too, and delivery was really quick.
