These scents are terrific for any trash can to help with getting rid of odors ! So far the scents have lasted pretty long and will be buying more of them !!

Adhesive doesnt work; at some point it unstuck/fell into the trash and we didn't notice.

I got these hoping to use them instead of the overpriced pods from SimpleHuman. At just over half the price, I figured I couldn't go wrong. On March 15, I bought two starter kits and applied the first to a brand new SimpleHuman trash can. About a week later, I go to take out the trash and noticed the pod, and the housing it was in, is nowhere to be seen. Ok, fine. It must have been user error, right? Cleaned the lid, then wiped it with a Clorox wipe, followed by a quick wipe with 95% grain alcohol, just to be sure, then applied the second housing. To be clear, this is a SimpleHuman trash can that opens with a foot pedal, so there's no chance the housing was knocked or bumped, other than what might be expected under normal use. I just took out the trash and noticed, once again, the housing is nowhere to be seen.I don't know if it's poor quality glue or if they just don't stick to SimpleHuman trash cans or what, but they were an absolute waste of money for me.

I really wanted to Love this item. I bought it for my trash compactor. It has plenty of room inside the housing so I set this mini-bin in the space where canned deodorant used to go. It fell out after opening & closing the compactor only twice.So, I stuck it on the inside of the drawer high enough up to not interfere with the compactor mechanism. I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed put all week.But one day my husband compacted something bulky & when I opened the can, the mini-bin holder was laying on top of the trash. I cleaned it off, & once it was thoroughly dry I reattached it to the drawer.When my husband put out the trash on garbage day I noticed that the holder was missing but the adhesive was still attached inside the drawer. Apparently the adhesive does not have a strong enough bond for the mini-bin holderThe fragrance is pleasant, the holder just will not stay attached. I’m ordering one more holder because I still have 5 fragrance disks to use. If the holder falls out of this next unit I’ll just stop wasting money on this set-it-and-forget-it trash deodorizer and update my rating to 2 stars
