They are ok quality. I had to return some as the camera section was detached in the inside from the unit. The box wasn't damaged, so was packed that way. The other cameras were ok. There are cheaper ones if you are willing to wait a bit longer for them.

Overpriced. Certainly not waterproof so outside fitting needs to be well sheltered. Claims to have a motion detector but how that works when there is no on/off switch, is beyond me. On detaching the dome, it becomes obvious no motion detector exists. Very cheap internal wiring/connections. No on/off switch though one seems to have been intended as the dome can be turned left & right as though to disengage batteries.. Therefore batteries are being used full time unless you take the unit down and remove them. No batteries supplied, as per description. It takes 2 AAA batteries, as shown in the description, but the box says 2 AA batteries.....not a problem unless you've forgotton which batteries were specified and try to fit 2 AAs into AAA spaces. Good luck with that. The batteries fitting is very sloppy....they can move around. No idea yet as to how long the batteries will last when the unit is on full-time. Ordered 2 units and would normally return them but the flashing red light does work, though for how long I've yet to find out. Certainly simplifies fitting a unit compared with the 'real thing' and, hopefully, the unit will act as a deterrent in that no-one will want to get close enough to see that it's a cheap fake. Think I'll add a wireless antenna to one of them to make it more realistic. I'll be relying on my home alarm system!

I purchased the BW Dummy Camera, Home Security Fake Camera Imitation Dummy Security Camera Dome with Flashing LED Light, hoping it would provide a semblance of security for my home. Unfortunately, this product fell short in every possible way.Firstly, the build quality is extremely poor. The plastic feels cheap and flimsy, making it obvious to anyone that this is a fake camera. The mounting hardware included was also subpar and made installation a hassle.Secondly, the flashing LED light, which is supposed to be a key feature, is dim and barely visible. Even in low-light conditions, the light is not noticeable, rendering it ineffective as a deterrent.Thirdly, the overall design is unconvincing. The dome shape and size do not resemble real security cameras at all. Instead of providing a sense of security, it looks more like a toy or a poorly made prop.Lastly, after just a few days of use, the LED light stopped working altogether. I tried replacing the batteries, but the issue persisted. This indicates a serious flaw in the product's durability and functionality.In conclusion, the BW Dummy Camera is a complete waste of money. It fails to serve its intended purpose as a deterrent due to its poor quality, unconvincing design, and unreliable LED light. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a realistic-looking dummy security camera. Save your money and invest in a higher-quality alternative.
