Clever little game for almost all ages
An addictive game to play with children due its simplicity, required skill and attraction. We found it coming very close to Double. But this requires a bit more hand-eye coordination. We as parents and our 10-year old daughter quite enjoyed this game as it can be played in a casual manner and it generally leads to quite some excitement. The set up takes 10 seconds and a game itself requires no more than 10 minutes of play time, but of course multiple rounds can be played. Our 6 year old initially had a little trouble to understand the mechanics. But after taking some time to explain and play it slowly with him he got the hang of it and is now a ‘Geistes’ superstar.I would say that the game has a tendency descent into chaos as players and children in particular will tend to hold hands near the pieces and will try to grab them in their enthusiasm. So some discipline and etiquette is required (in our family all players are required to place their hands flat on the table before a new card is drawn and revealed).I’m still a bit puzzled by the German title of the game, but instructions are included in several languages; there are English instructions as well. So its only the German name on top of the box that is confusing. To get any further you’ll have to relax and train your brain to recognise the pattern/combinations and make a move. It’s not easy, often annoying and some younger players will do surprisingly well.So its actually quite good game and perfect to take along for travel.

Great for the family!
Fantastic little game to get the brain working! Fun and quick to learn and play! My 7 year old enjoys it as much as I do. Fast, action packed and exciting. Just need to manage the odd argument!

Great Game
This game is really great - so simple, but quite tricky once you get going! Makes you use your brain too. You can play for as long as you like (5 minutes or hours!)Just put the little pieces (grey mouse, red chair, green bottle, white ghost, blue book) on the table and pick a card. The card will have pictures of the little pieces on it, but the colours will be different (on the card, the mouse might be red instead of grey for example). Every time you pick a card, something will be missing... but what?If you are looking at a card with a picture of blue chair and a white mouse on it, then you know that the bottle is missing (it's green and there is no picture of it there) so grab the ghost piece from the table before anyone else does and you win.Every time you win you keep the card; count the cards at the end to see who won the whole game. This item arrived quickly and was well-packaged - it was Christmas and it even came with a little festive chocolate inside the package :)Really recommend it for kids 8 up. Simple, fun, brain-teasing family game.

A unique game that's fun for all ages
This is a great logic game but took us a little longer than most games to get our heads around the rules. If you played it too frequently, I think you could memorise the solutions for each card, but as an occasional quick fire game, it's great! My nearly 9 year old and I have really enjoyed playing it!

Easy to play & lots of fun
Really easy game to play for any age but you do have to be a quick thinker so if young kids are playing maybe team them with a grown up. Even if you are rubbish at it it is really funny to play. There are 5 painted wooden figures and a deck of cards. The top card gets turned over and you are either grabbing for the item or colour that is NOT on the card or if the item is shown in it's original colour you grab for that. So if the card shows a blue bottle and a red ghost you need to grab for the grey mouse as neither the item or colour is on the card but if the picture showed the white ghost which is one of the wooden figures you grab for that. It's really easy to pick up once you start playing & great fun. We had a group of 5 from 12 years to 72. It only takes about 10-15 mins to play so no-one has time to get bored.

Easy to learn but a very challenging game!
What a fun game! There are 5 objects, each in different colour. The concept is very simple - each card has picture of 2 objects in 2 colours and you need to identify & pick up the object that is either (1) an exact match to the picture, or (2) no match at all. you always have only one correct object. It's very hard that sometimes you have to look for one that doesn't match, then other times you have to choose exact match, cards show them randomly so you can get easily confused. We played it with our children 10 & 12) and we absolutely love it. It is a good brain stimulating game that gives you a lot of fun and competition. We bought it with Dobble. We like both but this one is slightly more nerve wrecking/challenging.

Portable logic game even a 4.5 year old can play
Great logic game to have on hand when we are on the road. I play with my 4 1/2 year old while we are waiting for his brother's class to finish. Even at that age, he could understand the concept and play with 80% accuracy (well wven I miss some cards wih the correct color at times). Nicely made game with wooden tokens. You only need a small space to play. We set the tokens inside the box to prevent them from rolling off the surface we play on.

Little genius of a game
Wonderful game. Not hard to learn the rules but one that certainly needs a sharp, quick thinking player. Have been playing for about 8 years and whenever I've introduced new people to the game they have loved it. Fascinating leveller of a game, have found children (age 8 probably the minimum) compete with adults easily once they know the rules. Highly recommended.
