I bought this Melissa & Doug wooden table and chair set for my grandkids, and I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s the perfect spot for coloring, snack time, puzzles, and all their creative little projects.The quality is exactly what you’d expect from Melissa & Doug—solid, sturdy, and built to last. The chairs are stable and feel secure, even when the kiddos are climbing in and out on their own. And the size is just right for little people—low enough for them to sit comfortably, but big enough to grow with them for a while.It was easy to assemble, looks adorable in their playroom, and has become one of their favorite places to sit and play. I love that it looks clean and classic—nothing overly “plastic” or flashy, just timeless wooden furniture that fits in anywhere.If you’re looking for a safe, well-made table and chair set for the little ones in your life, this one is a winner. My grandkids love it, and so do I!

I bought the table and chairs along with 2 additional chairs for Thanksgiving. It's perfect for small children and easy to clean. It's very sturdy and easy to assemble.

First the unboxing.This was the best packaging I have ever had for online furniture. The box was heavy and inside the box every edge had a corner board to protect it. Inside the corner board was 1/2" of Styrofoam. The parts were neatly stacked and each component was wrapped in its own thin Styrofoam so it would not slide. There was no room for anything to move during shipping. Well done!Now the product.The table and chairs have great craftsmanship. Boards all fit tight to each other, and the bolts all aligned easily. The only complaint I have is that the lo ger set of bolts the loctite was applied to high on the threads, so it serves no purpose. All bolts were phillips head, which made it easy to assemble. I bought 2 more chairs to make it 4 chairs and a table, and I had everything together in about 30 minutes. With the 4 chairs it is the perfect size. I am not sure what the weight rating for the chairs are, but I have sat on them with no fear of them breaking (220lbs).We looked at alot of sets, and didnt not find this one in our searches until it went onsale. Not sure why it is buried in the searches, but I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Love this table! Very sturdy, and surprisingly easy to clean. There was one screw hole that didn’t line up perfectly, but it wasn’t off enough to cause any issues. It took maybe 30 or so minutes to put it together, and that’s with our toddler starting the screws herself! Haha. Definitely recommend.

I've been looking at dozens of tables for my children but none of them seemed to be right for us. I came across this table and had high hopes when I put my order in. It did not disappoint. I put the table and 2 chairs together with a hand screw driver while my 20 month old and 3 year old was "helping me" in 50 mins. The set looks beautiful and extremely sturdy. Kids use it for snack time, doing art or to climb on to look out the window. I got it on sale for $95 and it was totally worth it. It will be used and loved for many years to come. Totally recommend it!

Melissa & Doug is one of those brands we've grown to trust after having two kids. This table and chair set lives up to those expectations. It is sturdy, attractive, & would work well in a school or home setting. How sturdy, you ask? I am a 175 pound dad and confidently just sat and had tea with my toddler. She approves, and so do I!Assembly took me 20 minutes in total. It actually arrives partially pre-assembled, and is well protected for shipping. Paint finish is uniform and clean without any significant blemishes or imperfections.I've added some standard construction paper and crayons to my posted picture to try and demonstrate the actual size of the set. It's a bit on the small size as far as these tables go, but it works well for our needs -- and our 2 year old loves it!

Looks great and is sturdy- but I am missing a hardware bolt and cannot get ahold of customer service for a replacement bolt.
