We got my son these for his 4th birthday after he saw something very similar on Dino HQ YouTube Kids Channel. They are amazing & he loves them! We take them everywhere & he loves showing people how he can make dinosaurs appear at a relatives house, at the park, in church etc! He even had a baby dinosaur balancing on his little brothers head! Obviously you need an iPhone or similar for these to work so we are very careful for our 4 year old not to damage our phones & have had the ‘be careful’ conversation with him! A fantastic learning tool for h to learn about computer technology & also dinosaurs!

Great with the phone app. however I don't recommend the VR goggles which are optional extras.

Once you've downloaded the app, this was very simple to use. The 3d images are great and my grandsons loved them. Very clever idea which I recommend for children who would appreciate the real dinosaurs as opposed to cartoon ones (maybe a bit frightening for very young children). I took one star off as it does not come with a pouch/wallet to keep the cards together. It did not take long for the cards to get lost in our house!

Although there are many ways now to experience what the dinosaur age animals were like with films and children's TV programmes, this product is absolutely superb especially as an addition to the other products of Animal cards I have spoken about and in the same way. I can only repeat here what I said: Classic educational value for children in the age of rapidly developing 3d+ and 4d+ applications. I bought these for my two grandsons who are aged 3 and 4 and both were enthralled by them, as was I. If I have criticism it is only the cumbersomeness of actuating the experience which is too sophisticated for their use. Better I'm sure for those who might be 7 or so. That said, the movement and sounds are great fun and the bonus of them is the additional information they provide over and above the ar/vr visual experience. I also used them with a £1.99 google cardboard. Every child should have them. I recommend the Dinosaur 4D+ to go with them. for children who want to combine
